Aw, finally logged on after years, apologies for the delayed response! 

When we were first moving in together, we both worked at restaurants as servers which was really good money. But now that we’re at “career” jobs, it’s more stable and easier to manage financially. Personally, I’m a horrible saver but I always make sure I have enough money to pay the bills (rent, utilities, car payments, etc). And I currently only take night classes or online classes so I can work full time. I will continue to do this if the classes are available. If not, I would take Fridays off to work remotely and go in for school on that day if need be. 

Our first apt was found via Craigslist so it was nothing fancy. It’s always tough at the beginning because you need to come up with the deposit and first month’s rent. And then getting the internet and cable and furniture and etc - it’s a lot! But we definitely made sure we were financially stable and could afford living on our own before moving forward. It was definitely easier moving to our second apt.

All in all, I love living with Justin :) I feel like it’s always a hit or miss - some couples get along and some don’t. We’re lucky that we both are able to tolerate each other. And now we have a little pug pup as our first child! Hehe.
