I’ve recently read “Lord of the flies” for the first time ever and it honestly shook me. You know this feeling, when you read/watch/experience something brutal, sad and violent and thought provoking you can almost feel the metallic taste of blood on the back of your tongue? This doesn’t happen to me that often, but each time it does it’s almost like a revelation. It left so many feelings and thoughts after finishing reading, that I am no longer surprised at the amount of fan work created for the novel. And I myself will probably do more fan art on it when I have the time.
