You cannot be safe for transfems if you are not also transfeminist. You cannot be an ally to transfems and our liberation if you are not explicitly and loudly transfeminist. Not being transfeminist is not morally neutral or unbiased, it is a clear failing to consider and support the transfems in your life and around the world. If you cannot be transfeminist, then you shouldn't talk to transfems, you shouldn't talk about transfems, and you have no place in our lives or in this world. If there is truly to be revolution or liberation of any kind, it cannot leave anyone behind, and unless you loudly support us then we must assume you are okay leaving us behind.

It's killing us. I don't think you understand it's killing us. Every time you scroll past a Black tgirl getting harassed without doing anything to make her feel less alone. Every time you just accept that a space you're in doesn't have Black tgirls. Every time you don't prioritize Black tgirls even when we are the primary victims of the thing you are talking about (like the ""deplatforming"" of trans girls who rely on mutual aid to survive, which disproportionately targets Black girls). My siblings, Farah, who is 16, Aya, who is 14, Mohamed, who is 8, and Hamoud, who is 7, are all children who deserve safety, education, and the chance to grow up in peace. I also suffer from chronic asthma, which has become increasingly difficult to manage because of the dust, smoke, and lack of medical care.
