As for your question, I’d say the best thing would be to look at real people!! During my time at community college I took every figure class I could and in those classes they had live models that we’d draw!! Being able to see right in front of you how muscles and the body twist and turn and get into place during poses really help you learn!!

Hi there!! I’m honestly super happy you sent this I’m really glad to see my art reach different parts of the world and different people ^^ and I totally get what ur saying!! From what I know, asexuality is a spectrum so different people got different levels of sexual attraction so I def think to just assume asexuals “don’t understand” or wouldn’t enjoy suggestive art is just stupid! Plus I get plenty of people who see my suggestive art and focus more on the rending and style of it rather than the sexual stuff itself, so I’ve always been open to comments regarding any part of my art from any kind of person!!

Also yeah I def agree!! Like I wouldn’t call myself an exclusively nsfw artist, I just love the body! Not even in just sexual ways, I’ve just always love figure drawing! I love drawing the body so much, so drawing pin up art let’s be do so while also appealing to my second love, submissive anime men👍 so nsfw art is the way I can have my fun 😋

But then I was talking with a friend abt yume stuff and I was like damn….i don’t got a ship name for my stuff and i remembered back to that ask and i was like woah…..idea….👀

but yeah 😭😭 it’s my choso selfship hashtag/title 😭😭 I don’t talk abt yume stuff outside of that friend I mentioned and irls so if ppl are worried about seeing it dw it’ll stay private LOL im rlly chill abt yume stuff i don’t do nonsharing or no doubles or anything so no worries other choso yumes we chill here 🤤👍

Hi there!! Honestly this is a really tough question because I struggled a lot with it growing up and even tho it’s true what ppl say abt “stop trying to find a style it will come to you” when you’re young and don’t know your place in the world, finding your place in the ART world as well is also tough!

I’d say if you’re truly stumped I have two things!! The first is something I always tell people but it’s to constantly look at the art you want to embody!! Having multiple artists that you can be like “I want my style to look like all theirs combined!!” Is a good point!! Over the years what I’ve wanted my art to look like has changed wildly but there have always been some constants throughout the years and building off of that is what’s important!! What kind of art do you want to make? What makes you happy about drawing? What’s your favorite part of a piece? Those questions will help you find at least a direction you want to go!!

That actually leads into my second point! When you are trying to develop a style that’s you, try to focus on the things you love about art! You wanna make stuff that not only looks great to you when it’s done, but was also fun for you to make during the process itself!! For example, if you’re someone who loves muscle/body details and anatomy, a simpler body style may hinder that! Or maybe you’re someone who likes to focus on the clothing and things unrelated to the body itself but you try to make the figure as detailed as you make the clothing and such! Not to say you can’t do both, but once you find your own style, you can tweak it to fit the things you like! It’s that thing ppl always say where you gotta know the rules before you can break em :p

Anon you get me…..I enjoy taking my own version of choso in a softer muscle direction!! while I do agree canon choso would be more like…well like how he looks in the show😭😭 my personal take on choso is a modern au that I have tons of thoughts and lore and hcs specifically for that au so I draw him as such!! Plus I agree that super ripped dudes are alr and all but what really moves me a chubby buff sort of build 🤤🤤

But also yes!!! There’s softness not only in his body but also in his demeanor that I try to capture!! Flushed face, embarrassed expressions, soft eyes!!! There’s so much characterization that you can do in art so I try my best to get my version of choso across to yall :D!!!
