 I’m just gonna start right off the bat by saying: if you think I’m gonna name names or shit on other people, that’s not what I’m about. Regardless of where anyone stands, I think sending a hurd of people over to an account to fucking harass anybody is absolutely pathetic. Now for my opinion: I do not like Lightfootcest/Barlian. I personally think it’s gross, so please don’t assume I’m okay with it just because I’m extremely quiet about it (up until now). I’ve been known to grit my teeth and just let people talk at me about whatever and disregarding my comfortability; and that’s all on me. So I’m saying this now, please don’t ask me to do art like that. Especially since it deals with a minor, even if it’s fictional, it just gives me a weird feeling. In short: I don’t like it.

 That being said, I say this ever so gracefully, don’t come into my dms accusing me of CONDONING/LIKING THIS SHIT JUST BECAUSE I DON’T TALK ABOUT IT AND/OR DON’T UNFOLLOW SOMEONE YOU *THINK* MIGHT BE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS FUCKING SHIP. Holy shit, the fact that I have to say this makes me ever so fucking pissed. I stayed quiet when a situation similar to this in a different fandom, but at this point fuck it. If you really think you have the right to dictate whether or not I’m a good person by who I follow, please reconsider your thought process. This has been my biggest problem with this whole situation. There’s a difference in between warning people and pulling off the whole “Unfollow this person or I’ll block you” and all that bullshit. I try to keep my feed clean from Barlian beacause obviously I don’t want to see it. If I do, I will IMMEDIATELY unfollow if the person is directly making art of it. Trust me when I say I do my research. If I’m still following someone you consider “problematic”, I’ve probably spoken to them personally before making my desicion. 

On another note, if the above makes you uncomfortable, feel free to unfollow me or block me or whatever. I don’t care, I won’t take it personally AT ALL. I just think you can do that without trying to give me a 7 page essay on why I’m such a shit person for not wiping my followers/follows clean every 16 seconds. 

The reason I don’t talk about it is simply because I don’t like hearing it from EITHER SIDE. It’s one thing to vent your stance once in a while but it get’s tiring when you see it everywhere you turn. But this obviously I can’t do anything about, because people have EVERY right to vent against/for Lightfootcest (as gross as the latter is). You have every right to stand up for what you believe in, but don’t expect people to feel safe or stay if that’s ALL you talk about. Again, please don’t feel like I’m telling you NOT to, that’s not what this is about.

 To wrap up this vent: to the people who warn me about certain creators, this isn’t aimed at you, although I kindly ask for it to stop. To the people who accuse my silence as confirmation that I’m for Lightfootcest I only have one thing to say to you: fuck right off. And please, please PLEASE stop asking me about it. Please. 

So yeah that’s my stance on Barlian. I might lay off Onward for a while because of this whole mess. I’m real tired. If this post offends you in some way or you’re still convinced that I’m okay with Lightfootcest, I really don’t know what to tell you.I’m not going to talk about this again. If you’ve read this far, thank you for listening to me. 

EDIT: Don’t take my words and twist them btw. I personally find Barlian gross and want it NOWHERE near me, but I don’t despise those who do obviously. Please don’t use me as a pawn to fight for either side, this is a statement of me saying that I want absolutely nothing to do with this. So to reiterate: I don’t hate these people AT ALL, and never in a million years will I condone going out of your way to personally harass and belittle them. Don’t wrap me into that category, I find that shit ridiculous. If you don’t like that, then that’s a you problem. I really don’t care anymore. Unfollow and leave me out of it.
