I had intended to post this last night but hit post limit and couldn't lmao

a lot has already been said on this topic, so i’ll keep it rather short. My thought are tied to an interview with isayama for pash magazine a while back, that i’m too lazy to find the link for. In said interview, he talks about his inspiration behind armin’s character. He describes a childhood friend he had. the two of them would always play with toy guns called “j-rammans”, and he recalled his friend never being satisfied with the toys he had. He said that said friend would always say things akin to “when i’m an adult and have money, i’ll buy all the toys I can’t have right now!” and at the time, isayama agreed that he would do the same. as the two of them grew older, though, isayama himself lost all interest in the toy guns, but his friend kept his promise and spent his disposable income on them, always showing isayama how cool his new toys were, even though they are adults. His friend kept the same childhood excitement that isayama had already lost, and he also states that he felt guilty for losing it. What does this have to do with eren and armin’s separation? well….

I believe eren was already skeptical of armin’s dream, which is why he says “i guess you did,” and not ‘I guess we did.’ but I believe he still believes in freedom here, and he still lets armin’s dream inspire him.

the ocean is still something that means freedom to armin, but not to eren. Armin has held onto his childhood dreams and excitement, but to eren, freedom is something that has virtually become in-achievable. This is after years of reliving his father’s memories. Eren is no longer able to let armin inspire him.

but I think this is the exact moment that eren and armin start to drift apart. Eren is reminding armin about his dream to cheer him up about having been chosen over erwin, when suddenly he gets a flashback of faye being torn apart. She and armin had similar dreams, both desiring to see the outside world. Eren is now able to see that freedom doesn’t mean what he thought it meant, and the paralells between faye and armin become evident in the very next panel, when eren is concernedly looking at armin. Eren has grown up and realized that dreams can’t come true, but armin still has hope. 

First off, the plot. WandaVision, summarized from Marvel officials and the actors, is basically going to start out as a very funny, lighthearted show, However, it’s going to end ectremely dark and messed up, but in an epic kind of way. All you comic book fans know what that means (if you don’t, keep reading!)! It’s basically going to be a Sitcom turned thriller (kinda). Before I go into depth on what this means, I wanna show you guys the poster. 

Looks pretty good, right? A little weird that they’re dressed like a 50′s sitcom, though. Until you look a little closer…

HOUSE OF M MOTHERFUCKAS!!!

Quick History lesson: House of M is a comic book in the Marvel universe, which summed up, basically is about Wanda losing Vision, then going power crazy and using her reality bending powers to basically create another universe. A world where Vision is alive and they have children, but she doesn’t even realize she’s doing it.  Obviously, The Avengers and X-Men work together to stop her (clint dies), but she’s extremely powerful, so that becomes a challenge. Through a thrilling series of events, surprise surprise, the heroes win. Now, this is just a snippet of what the comic is about, and I haven’t read it in awhile, so go check it out for yourself. 

Anyways, in the comics, Wanda’s outfit, apart from the ridiculously sexist piece, includes an actually pretty cool looking headpiece. A head piece that appears in House of M… I personally think this symbolizes how Wanda is stuck in her own reality, but the real world still lurks in the shadows. And do you notice the television screen? Why would the screen be glowing, unless it’s another figment of Wanda’s reality? To portray how her mind is creating everything around her. 

Personally, this is what I think is going to happen: Wanda may have seemed pretty calm in the end of Endgame, but we all noticed the pure rage our queen was carrying as she fucking demolished Thanos like he was an ant on her shoe. Her power is unmeasurable, and that wasn’t even her using it to it’s fullest. She was in pain. I think in the show, something is going to happen and send her over the edge. She’s going to create a false reality, and I think that’s why so many random characters are going to be in the show (Jimmy from Ant-Man, Darcy from Thor, and grown up lieutenant Trouble from Captain Marvel)l. Now, I have no idea how they’re going to approach this show, but this is my idea, and I feel like this is going to set up Doctor Strange 2 as well. 

Redraw of that scene from It’s Always Sunny. It hit me that the reason Todoroki, Iida and Midoriya work so well as a team is because they make up the classic looks-brains-wildcard trichotomy
