Hi. I'm back. So I figure I should lay it all out there as to why I'm not posting so much. There are 80 things on my plate right now. This new job has me working late almost every day, I'm in a mess with my landlord and he's currently trying to evict me, I'm looking for a new apartment, packing up my current apartment, my dog got a really bad ear infection and he's now on two medications twice a day, I'm prepping to hopefully leave the country for five months in September, aaaaand I signed up for a SPARTAN RACE. It was probably dumb, considering everything I'm already dealing with, but I've been wanting to do one for a while, so when a friend asked me to join her team, I couldn't say no. So now I'm officially in Spartan Race training. If anyone has any tips and trips or special workouts that will be most beneficial (I'm hearing burpies are key) please let me know! My plan is to start waking up early to work out before work, do some weight training, then hit the gym again for a cardio sesh after work. Here's hoping I don't continue getting out so late I can't split my workout (I really like burning off steam at the end of the day in the gym), but worst case at least I'll have the mornings! Also I've dropped two pounds! Woohoo!
