Life is but a passing dream

“Another new arrival?” Mitsuhide looked over the man and his clothing, immediately determining that something about him was not entirely human.  He would just have to talk this person and find out his story.  Whatever the case may have been, Seymour was, to Mitsuhide, quite intriguing already. 

“A pleasure to meet you,” he bowed.  ”I am Akechi Mitsuhide.”

 Kotaro tilted his head to consider it and held his fingers a good width apart. He only had power over his own dying clan of ninja, however he had worked for some very powerful and generally influential people. He supposed that to continue the conversation he might as well ask the same. He pointed to Seymour and shrugged inquisitively hoping that that would get his message across.

"Me? Well I was once quite influential in my homeland. I had many followers as I was one of the three leaders of Yevon, the faith which people put in so that one day we may help destroy Sin. Of course, many have since turned away from Yevon. It was a rather misfortunate. My plan has not been a success, yet..." Seymour trailed off as he spoke. He was thinking about how he wanted to destroy all of Spira, his home world, but he had been stopped. He wasn't giving up, yet.

 Kotaro nodded his head in acknowledgement, though he suspected he did not hold near as much power as this Seymour did. After all, being the leader of the clan wasn’t much when you hardly saw them anyway.

And here he went again. He brushed off his pants and gestured to his throat then covered his mouth. He would have to find more creative ways of explaining that he was mute; this was getting repetitive.

"I see. I'm sorry." Seymour said after he picked up that Kotaro was unable to speak. To be honest, Seymour wasn't at all sorry. He didn't even care. It wasn't like Kotaro would be able to get Seymour out of this place. Nobody could, not even himself. His powers of being able to summon and use magic were sealed ever since he arrived here.

 Kotaro looked the stranger up and down, cautious as usual in the face of an unknown person. This person was polite and well-dressed; probably a man of some sort of status in his own world though it was hard to say. The mantle he wore resembled those of a religion back home but they were not quite the same. It would be best to exercise caution.

He bowed in return, got to his knees, and began to write in the dirt.

My name is Kotaro Fuuma, leader of the Kotaro clan. It is good to meet you.

Seymour watched as this stranger wrote in the dirt. It was quite strange, to say the least. He expected this stranger called Kotaru Fuuma to speak, not write, his response.

"It is a pleasure, Kotaro Fuuma. I see you're a leader back in your homeland as well." It felt unusual to talk to leaders and important people from different worlds. Seymour was a leader himself, a man of great importance. A clan and the world were much the same to be leaders over but on different scales. The world of Spira wasn't under the control of Seymour but a lot of it was. It was an important task.

Kotaro stood towards the top of the tallest tree that he could find, arms crossed as he surveyed the scene. This circus was… Strange. He’d been stranger places of course, but there were many things here that he’d never seen before or much less imagined. He was not happy about it; he was not fond of change. There seemed to be very little wildlife and nature around in general as well, which was certainly not to his liking.

He supposed that he was stuck here until he found some sort of a way out but so far he could not find any obvious escape route even from all the way up here. All he could see was rusty trailers, dead plants, and lost-looking people as far as the eye could see. Well, for now he would find his accommodations.  He’d have no hope of getting out if he were not well-fed.

Seymour stood in a distance, watching as this person looked around. He assumed that this stranger arrived not so long ago. It wasn't the kind of place that anyone wanted to arrive to, he knew this himself. He had been here for awhile now and he wanted out. He just wanted to get back to Spira and continue with his plan. Of course, that would his plan is a difficult one but he was going to do anything to complete it.

Not only was he polite, but he was sophisticated too. Something began to nag at the carapace, and he hopes that Seymour doesn’t mind questions. “excuse me, sir, but you wouldn’t happen to be a very important figure from your homeland? you have a very sophisticated and polite air about you, sir seymour.” He hopes that Seymour isn’t a king. He hates kings. 

Oh he noticed, Seymour thought to himself. He wondered if WV was asking because he was just curious or he had some other motif behind it. He didn't look powerful but he could be wrong. He'd have to be careful, even if all powers and weapons were sealed away.

Oh, how polite. WV made sure to remember his manners this time around. “it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, sir seymour. i am known as the wayward vagabond, wv for short,” he says, giving the Guado a jerky bow in return.   

He smiles and waves at the other, starting to get used to coming across new people. Hm, this is odd, this fellow seems human, but not quite. Perhaps it would be best to wait until the other began speaking before he would assume anything. 

Seymour smiles at this unfamiliar person standing in front of him. Such strange attire, he thought. His own clothes weren't exactly "normal" around here either.

Seymour’s scrutinizing gaze didn’t really bother Canas. After all, he often gave others gazes such as that. Well, in more of a polite way, anyway. “I hope its a pleasure to meet you, Seymour,” he says, an eyebrow raised in curiosity at the other man’s bow.

Seymour stood up straight and replied, "It is a pleasure meeting you, indeed, Canas." Seymour had been here for a week but he still didn't know his way around all that well. He hasn't actually adventured of, looking at the new area he was in. Instead he stayed to a quite small area and his trailer, where he spent quite a lot of time because there wasn't much else for him to do, apart from planning on how to become Sin and stop the suffering Spira was going through.

Not only that, he still wasn't sure about how people acted towards others. Everyone came from different worlds so they all had a different way of life. Some even spook different languages from the languages back home, in Spira. He didn't expect so many people to talk to himself since he is a human-guado hybrid and the people of Spira didn't accept him for a long time.

Winnie the Pooh frowned once again. The meaning of what Seymour probably didn’t hit the bear as hard as it would have hit someone who understood the concept of death, but Pooh was able to tell that it wasn’t good. He’s one to often become sad at the thought of the boy being merely kidnapped, death, as far as Pooh knew, being gone forever. “I don’t think he’s suffering that bad,” Said Pooh politely. 

He also wasn’t one for quick thinking, but he wanted to either steer the conversation away from this topic, or just find a way to get out of talking to this very rude person. He stood for a few seconds before realizing how uncomfortable this made him, so he bowed his head. “Please excuse me, Seymour, I have a feeling my tummy’s about to growl at me any minute, and a Pooh Bear takes care of his tummy,” With his head still tucked down, he spun around and lumbered off to his trailer so he could get a small smackerel of honey.

Of course, Winnie the Pooh wouldn't want his dearest friend to be gone forever but then he would just have to watch him suffer in how cruel the world was. Seymour was unsent for a reason, he wanted to stay so he could finish what he had started, destroying everything. In Seymour's mind, destroying everything wasn't evil. In fact, to him it was good. It was the end of all suffering that was caused by an accident. People shouldn't need to suffer any longer, he thought.
