Fall means crunchy leaves, gorgeous colors and being cold like 90% of the time. Layers to the rescue!

Rainy days aren’t that bad as long as there’s hot cocoa around.

It’s time for cozy sweaters and crunchy leaves and that makes me so happy!

Where to next?

One of the things that we missed most during our trip was cooking together. There’s just something special about sharing those moments in the kitchen, you know?

The trip was amazing, but the back home feeling is pretty damn good too! We had such a wonderful time and we got to see some awesome places, pet some cute doggos, catch-up with a few friends, get to hear the stories of a few unforgettable strangers, eat loads of aaaah-mazing food and even learn a thing or two about places we called home for a couple of nights. Oh we learned to walk on stilts too haha.

And lucky for us, our B&B hosts were the perfect people to have a long breakfast with. They were the loveliest people ever!! Eva and Asger are the most charming couple you will ever meet. They're in their 70s and beaming with youth, joy and passion. They travel around, they're both still taking courses, learning new things, keeping open minds and still keeping their creative souls active with painting, sculpting or translating stories. They're the kind of old couple you think is a myth until you actually meet one. That's who I want to be when I grow up!

Fika is basically coffee + something sweet + a nice chat, so I'd say it's not the ingredients that make it special, but the sheer fact that there's a word for it and that something so simple and nice has an almost sacred role in the Swedish culture. Love it!

And then from Helsinki we hopped on another boat to head on over to Stockholm.

From Tallinn we hopped on a ferry to take us to Helsinki. MoominLand here we come! 

I ❤️ Tallinn! It would be hard not to. I mean it's a medieval city that has cute colourful old buildings all around, imaginative pubs AND a creative part that's any hipster's dream. What's there not to love?

We went to an alpaca farm and now I can confirm the myth about alpacas’ fluffiness is 100% true.

We spent the last couple of days on the small and peaceful island of Muhu, "the island where time rests" and it was 100% pure bliss! We fell asleep to the sound of crickets and woke up to the smell of freshly cut grass, we got to feed the sheep, we ate hearty granny food and we biked through the forest. It was heeeeavenly!!

After a couple of days at the beach, it felt like this was the best way to say goodbye to Estonia's summer capital. It's been a relaxing weekend that really felt like a vacation not just travelling, but now it's time to move on. If you get the chance don't pass on Pärnu because it's ridiculously cute and packed with old colorful wooden houses as far as the eye can see. I'd shrink it and and put it in my pocket if I could 🧡

Today we spent the whole day wondering around Riga looking up at all the gorgeous architecture and enjoying the heck out of the local cuisine 🍔 Keep those potato pancakes coming!
