Ways to Please an Alpha

Yes. It is me. Whether you know me as Youthful Dominance or Blissful Dominance, you can have a small grin in the fact that I have once again found myself back here. I took two months to think about some things. I somewhat walked away from it all. I apologize to the many messages that saw no response. I was upset to lose something that I worked hard on and to not know why it was lost. I also was experiencing lot of things in my life at the time. It was almost too easy to just walk away from it all.

As is the case with most things sexual and kinky, you can turn away from it for so long. You can suppress the feelings, but they are always there (insert giggly closet reference here). So I soon found myself more active on Recon, Grindr (god I hate that app), and while I hate to admit it, I even dug around on craigslist. The reality is that I live in a smaller place. There isn’t an active kink community. Most of the boys here (with some very special exceptions) believe that a Dom guy is someone who can offer them a rough fuck and then they are done. And that’s not me. I want to spank you. I want to edge you. Then I want to kiss you. I want to hold you.

I decided to check out FetLife. Many boast its social media presence in the kink world, and yet I found it to be the most unwelcome and horrifically elitist place on the internet. Aside from the fact that there is very little place for guys who like guys, people are just unfriendly. I sent a message complimenting someone on their profile and their response was “what’s so good about it?” It is the very antithesis of what I have come to know from the amazing people of Tumblr.

So I find myself returning to Tumblr not because I want a constant stream of porn – though it is very good at that too – rather I miss the friendliness of the place. No matter where you live in this world there is someone out that shares your views and you can connect with them. This, of course, is the true heartbreak of Tumblr – the best people are always so far away. Nevertheless, there is still the potential for friendship, the exchange of advice, and even dare I say, the hope that maybe someday you will both be in the same place.

I am not sure what exactly this blog will be. More likely than not, it will be a return to my ideals and forum for my thoughts and aspirations for Dominance. I look forward to once again answering questions and sharing my thoughts. I will construct captions that seem to make even my cock drip. I will be here. Please feel free to message.
