Let me tell you about chronic illness.

Most of them are invisible, and all of them have no cure.

Most of us, the people who have one (or more) of them don’t look sick on the outside. But on the inside… boy, what a mess!

We try to look as normal as possible, but we know we’re not.

There are optimist people who don’t let an invisible illness defines them, and there are pessimist or resigned people (like me) who just gave up with the optimism.

I’m tired.

I am fucking tired.

I’m tired to deal with pain; new symptoms; with a new diagnose for a new incurable disease; and I’m fucking tired of all the goddamned pills.

This is not living!

You’re dying slowly.

You can feel it inside you, and it’s exhausting and frustrating to not know when it’s going to end.

Up to 20 pills a day!

“You can’t eat this, you can’t to that”.

You can’t maintain a job because sometimes chronic illnesses LOVE to play games not only with your body, but also with your head.

Anxiety.

Clinical depression.

Physcosis.

Hallucinations.

Panic attacks.

Seizures.

And that’s just your head.

If we talk about the physical symptoms, we’ll never end.

Joint pain; kidney pain (and or failure); muscle pain; severe migraines; vomits; chronic fatigue; back pain; bone pain; and all the different types of pain you could ever imagine!

And there’s is no cure. The pain meds sometimes won’t work, and you also have to deal with all the side effects of the medication you’re forced to take in order to keep you “alive”.

Is just not fair you know?

I’m done with being positive a long time ago.

I’m tired to fight against this.

Im tired of the doctors.

I’m tired of the hospital.

I’m tired of not being able to do anything without suffering the consequences.

My body is punishing me and I dont know why, and I’m so fed up.

I’m done.
