Lux had just finished her third transformation into George Bush and the game was growing very tiresome. To her at least. The redhead seemed to be having the time of her life and didn’t look to be getting bored anytime soon. 

“Look Pixie…” She raised an eyebrow at the bubbly Iris, “If being bad is what ya really want then how’s about we play a better game?”

         It was a tempting proposition, one which had Iris’ brows pulling together and her lips pursing with concentration. Being bad. Could the Darkholme really teach her how to accomplish that? People had been trying for years, since Arkham had broken her, at least, and none had succeeded ----- What made Lux think she could be any different?

How long has it been again since she last saw her children? It was weird because she’s been with her children for a short while already, but they don’t meet; and that’s blame the classes for them and blame the full work load for her.

Good things come to those who wait.

The heck, she thought to herself, waiting is boring. But this, this is of a different scenario. First, she waited (though she waited pretty impatiently) for the day she’d have Red in her arms again just like the old, happy days, and now, they’re back together. In the same Academy. With their family.

Second, meeting Iris… After a longer wait. It wasn’t very normal for her to dress up ( blame Pamela for it, because truth be told, she’d rather be naked ‘round her wife all the damn time ), but a date with her Iris. Her dear, dear Iris. If only things were different for herself and Emma; ah, that’s somethin’ she’d deal with that later.

She started making her way towards the students’ house, and made it in front of Iris’ room. With a few playful knocks, she then said, with a disguised tone; “Pizza delivery for Ms. Iris!”

As soon as the door opened, Harley’s heart started beating quadruple times faster than normal. “Iris!” She exclaimed, all excitedly, that she was certain her usual high-toned voice was heard along the hallways of the current floor and of the third floor, then pulled her daughter in for a hug. “Look at you, puddin’!” She said, holding Iris at arms length. “You’re very much like Pam. Your mother’s got the deal when it comes to her genes,” she said with a slight chuckle.

      Not the first supper in her entire life, that is, but her first since she’d been released from Arkham and sent to Vindex Academy, before the Big Boom and before their relocation. It had been some time since the two had sat down for quality mother-daughter bonding sessions, but it would certainly be worth the wait, especially by her mother’s evident excitement as she came barging through the door.

      “Momma!” The redhead cried out with joy, blushing vigorously at the compliments and the outwards displays of affection; nobody had been this kind with the chlorokinetic in ----- Iris couldn’t recall how long, exactly.

“I can stand my own ground, I don’t need your help now.”

Emma watched silently as her half sister bounced around and explain her reasoning. She had meant to remain passive and uninterested, but then more excited Iris got the more Emmaline wanted to feel that same energy. She wanted to be able to be as happy as the red-head. So she grinned wide and rocked back on her heels with her arms extended out as far as she could. “Wow, Irey. That sounds super magical. I have the greatest idea! Why don’t we make that your goal? If you wanna be able to buy a zoo soon then we gotta get enough money to do so, right? And what’s the best way to get money?”

“….that’s fun. Did you read those twilight books too? Team Jacob, amirite?” She joked, rather lamely. The blonde was more amused at the admission than anything

“You’re not pathetic, it’s cute.” She replied, shooting the girl a smile. “I watched a season at most, but I was always on the move way too much that by the time I’d settled, I was six or sevens seasons behind, seemed pointless”
