“Ow!” Hizashi pulled out of the hug and tried to bat Aizawa’s hand away from his hair. “I’m not buying you anything if you’re going to yank on my hair, birthday or no birthday! Do you treat your students this way?”

             “That’s the exact opposite of a problem, Hizashi.” He scoffs, lifting his now free hand to brush his hair out of his face in exasperation. 

“Aw can’t I give you at least one slice of cake or something?” A heavy pout rests on Hizashi’s face, but he returns the hug quickly. “No. I just want you to know I appreciate your existence and that you’re in my life.”

              “... If we get a chocolate cake or something, we can share. I guess.” SHOUTA rolls his eyes, the hand over Mic’s shoulder reaching behind to tug on a fistful of blond hair. 

“Don’t be such a brat.“

“Let us be old and die in peace for fuck’s sake.” He still gives his friend a hug, however, a heavy arm snaking across Mic’s shoulder’s in some semblance of consolation. 

"Happy birthday, Eraserhead!" The girl smiled at him.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

With a snort leaving his lips at the other’s comment, Hizashi happily leaning into Shouta’s touch. He was his best friend - and even with his the man’s seemingly insulting ways, he couldn’t help but to snort at his words.

“Aw, com’on Shou! I’m able to put up a fight, ya’know!” He teased back in return – his grin as bright as his eyes were. “What about you? Without me, you wouldn’t have any other form of human contact! And we all know you’ll shriver up and die without me!”

                “.... Wrong again, Mr. Yamada.”

“You wouldn’t be able to put up a fight against me, and between the two of us, I think we both know who the bigger animal is, so I’d probably just eat you, and save myself the effort.“

Just a blank stare for a second or two before Hizashi flopped against him, cheeks puffed out. 

“Shoooouta~ Pay ATTENTION to me, please?” 

Yup, he was going to try his damnest to beg with the most dramatic, hard to take seriously flair. Since in the end, he is getting what he wants.

               He’s tempted to deny him again, but instead, he wraps an arm around the blond’s shoulders, rolling his eyes. “You’d die without me, probably.”
