"Oh yes...this looks healthy"

Something about these signs makes me happy. I find such joy in old, & worn-down books. I especially like books that have people's marks in them already, it's like their little personal print. I've always wanted to start a book, where strangers will pass along & do as they please with it. Could end up being a possibly good idea...might just try it.

I went home the other day....

I took a nice bike ride & walk on Sunday. It was pretty cool.

Sweet Old photogenic New York

Everything just becomes more meaningful in black & white. So quick story: every time I look at train tracks I think of the story my brother told me….. There was a time when my brother couldn’t bear the idea of living without this single girl. She was everything he wanted a girl. She was sweet, funny, ambitious, smart, dedicated & independent. But the thought of living without her became more painful than my brother ever anticipated for. One day on the train, he began to debate whether or not he could live another day. Whether he could take the pain of seeing her with another guy. He had already reassured himself that us, his family, were eventually going to be fine without him. Because one less mouth to feed, & probably he’s death would manifest our ambition to succeed in life. As he thought however, someone else had the same idea & made a choice. The choice. There was a delay & he’s cart had stopped because someone had jumped into the tracks. Not even sure how to end this story.. …. Whoever that was I guess in some way, they saved my brother, just wish someone would have saved them before it was too late.

I love my mom, after all she’s been through, I love her even more for being so independent, strong, and beautiful. & I mean she’s wearing a minion shirt…how cute can she be?
