YES PLSS Leif is my favvvvv:)
🐢🍃- When Leif was abandoned by his family, there was a rockslide in the rocky area he lived in, his legs were crushed which is why his family left, considering him “weak”
🐢🍃- it took Leif 24 hours to get himself out of the boulder, his family thought he would just die
🐢🍃- obviously, this broke his legs, and his magic was weak at his age of 6. He managed to stop the fatal parts of the wounds with his magic, but he had to train himself with nothing but himself other than that.
🐢🍃- After this, he lived alone for 4 years being a thief
🐢🍃- his home was whatever ground he passed out on every day
🐢🍃- He was always scared to eat his meals because he felt as if he should save them as he wouldn’t get the chance very often
🐢🍃- when he was 8, a group of other abandoned kids found him (mentioned in the grocery store by Leif in the show), they were working as assassins to stay alive, feeling as though there was no other option he went with them
🐢🍃- The “founder” of the group, Leif considered his older brother, believing he’d found family again, the “brother’s” name, is Zex
🐢🍃- Leif was with them for 3 years, a mission was mentioned to him of killing “the monstrous prince”, Asch, Leif hadn’t met him but was very hesitant
🐢🍃- his hesitance led to the group thinking he’s weak, so they left him while everyone was asleep
🐢🍃- the group went through with the mission without Leif, Leif didn’t know how it went, all he knew was that Prince Asch was still alive, Leif eventually convinced himself Asch killed the entire group
🐢🍃- over the next 4 years Leif had given up on finding “family”
🐢🍃- over this time he trained himself to kill Asch, listening to rumors on his fighting styles and using tips he’d already learned
🐢🍃- Leif is a big fan of animals, but not of daemos, so he hunted daemos and humans to eat instead of animals
🐢🍃- Leif isn’t very proud of this fact
🐢🍃- when he was 14, he snuck into the palace and attacked Asch, he knew it was wrong and that he was outnumbered, but he’s far too cocky for that
🐢🍃- Once Leif had realized he was outnumbered by Asch, Pierce, Rhys, and Noi, in his vision, the deadly prince, the scariest general out there while being the youngest, the princes royal advisor, and a personal knight to the prince, he started running around the palace and wrecking things out of anger, what he had that they didn’t was speed
🐢🍃- eventually, after 3 hours of making the other 4 feel really stupid, Rhys set up a trap which was a spell that tied Leif to the ceiling, it took them 12 hours to make Leif agree that if they let him down he wouldn’t run, he almost bit off Noi’s face
🐢🍃- Leif’s options after being caught were either become a knight, or die
🐢🍃- Leif only being 14, agreed to become a knight
