not 3.07 confirming that the reason Viserys had one dragon dream and ONLY ONE dragon dream is the connection between rider and dragon. Viserys road Balerion for a few years, had one dragon dream about the prince who was promised, and lost his connection to dragon magic when Balerion died. Then for the rest of his life he wished he was a dreamer while blind to his second most forgotten child being tortured with them.
OF COURSE then DREAMfyre would give her rider dragon dreams - and I actually like HOtD finally getting around to explaining why Helaena doesn’t fly and canonizing a story accurate reason why she no longer rides.
I imagine what went unsaid by Helaena was that she KNOWS riding or being close to Dreamfyre increases the frequency or intensity of her dragon dreams. Maybe showing her unbearable things to the point that she would forsake flying. A thing she dreamed of doing as a child.
