Alistair scribbled a little note for the Doctor on the bottom of his list. 'Doctor get your bloody arse to my office on the double with those forms. And consider that an order. Brigadier AG Lethbridge-Stewart.'
His tone which had been even with a hint of annoyance the whole time became calmer, you could even say soft. On the advice of the Doctor's former assistant Liz, he made it a point to check-in on his civilian employees. UNIT took it's toll on a harden soldier like himself, he couldn't even begin to think what it did to the civilians getting wrapped up in this world. And as a added bonus, Tsuki also had to deal with his brilliant, eccentric, and very temperamental Scientific Advisor. "Tuski, don't rush off to the lab, just yet though. “ – Have you seen how they are handling my TARDIS? My poor ship transported like it’s nothing but a wooden box!” The tone of his voice changed slightly as the anger turned into disbelief. Surely these soldiers had been instructed to be more careful – and yet, they were still soldiers in the end.
“ – I could have simply PARKED it here myself if you had just let me!”
"I seem to remember you telling me that it was indestructible or was that one of your exaggerations when it come to that dratted box. Sometime I think it can't do half the things you say." Truth be told Alistair was the one who told his men to bring the TARDIS in when the police box was spotted materializing in the middle of a field. It had been far too long. He couldn't have him slipping away without a visit.
"Well, if I have the TARDIS I have you. Knowing you, your attempt to park the blasted thing would have led you halfway across the universe. Your bloody box will be fine and so will you."
