“Yeah, she does love books to that works out.” Sam replied with a small chuckle. “Yeah, that is what I am hoping for. I don’t want to work in the student library forever.”

 “Sounds like you need to take her there whenever you need a break then.” He laughed. “I get that. Where would be your dream then? Like do you have anywhere in mind?”

“She cares about school more than I do anyway.” Sam replied with a small shrug. Although that was the case now, he had used to care about school a great deal. Things had just changed when everything was going on in Ashton. “I’ve been picking up extra shifts for work so if anything they owe me a favor.”

 “Then I guess taking her to the library is a good call if she gets easily distracted. You can distract her with books instead.” He attempted at a joke. “That is fair enough, honestly. If anything you might get a good recommendation for your resume in the future.”

“If anything I think she finds me the distraction, but we get less distracted there than anywhere else.” Sam replied with a small shrug. It was mostly because he didn’t want to get in trouble with his boss. “Then I’ll know I have a bit of a problem.”

 Oliver nodded back at him, “I guess that is fair enough.” He said. It had been ages since he had been in a relationship himself, but he did remember how it could be like in terms of distractions. Not that he minded them for the most part. “Yeah so you should consider yourself lucky there.”

“Yeah well I pretty much life there myself. If I am not working than I am often there with my girlfriend, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve seen me there a few times.” Sam replied with a small chuckle. Not that he minded because there were worse places to spend time.

  “Ah fair enough!” Oliver nodded back at him, “I could not imagine studying in the library with my significant other, if I had one. It would be too distracting.” He laughed before he ran his hand through his hair. “As long as they don’t start charing you for rent I guess.” He added with a laugh.

“Working from home sounds like it would be brutal for distractions. I probably would take a nap and that wouldn’t be good.” Sam replied, letting out a small chuckle. If he had time for naps, he would probably take them now. “I work at the library.” 

 “It can be, especially on the days where you don’t feel like doing much.” He nodded back at him. It was a pain at times, but overall he was lucky he got to do what he enjoyed. “Sh right! I thought I recognized you from somewhere. Not that I hang out there a lot, personally. I am there from time to time to collect books and such though.”

“There was nothing on the news. I did overhear it might have been fireworks, so I’m guessing it might have been that. Loud noises and I don’t really get along.” That was the easy way of saying it. She had a feeling that she might be hearing them again tonight. 

 Oliver nodded slowly back at her, “I guess that is fair..” He said, “Loud noises isn’t exactly common in a place like Ashton, so I am sure the fireworks makes some sense.” He said with a shrug. 

“I think I would be so much better off if there was even two more hours honestly.” Sam replied, letting out a tired sigh. “I feel like I wake up, go to class, go to work, do my school work and then it’s bed time all over again.” He added shaking his head. It seemed like the only real time he had to do anything was on the weekends and even then his time was limited.

 Oliver nodded, “That pretty much sound like me, except I work from home, which doesn’t make it any easier I tell you. The temptation to take a nap or two during the day is sometimes a bit too tempting, but I have to admit I have gotten a bit better as of recently.” He chuckled back at him as he sipped off his coffee, “What do you do for work?”

“They must have fallen out of something.” Vanessa shrugged. Shoving them into one’s socks instead of tying them was not something she had seen before. Granted she guessed that it did the job in a pinch if one was feeling lazy. “I am doing alright. Been a bit buried in school work but that is life I suppose. How about yourself?” 

 Oliver nodded back at her, “Yeah been fairly busy myself. Been working on some new content on my Twitch channel, but also filmed some stuff for my new YouTube channel as well so things have been hectic on top of college.”

Sam had been working a lot of extra hours at work lately because one of his co-workers had come down with the flu so he was covering shifts.  Due to this he had to stay up well into the night every night and it had been over a week since he’d had a decent amount of sleep. It was due to this that he was nearly falling asleep at the diner table while he waited for his coffee and breakfast. Sam nodded off for a second and opened his eyes to see someone looking at him. “Do you ever feel like there isn’t enough hours in the day?”

 Oliver was looking over some contracts for some upcoming sponsorships and such for his Twitch channel while he was sipping off his cup of coffee. He had looked up and spotted the other man dozing off, only to lock his eyes with his once he woke up. He offered him a smile, “Every single day, honestly.” He laughed, “I don’t think I’d do well though if a day had more than 24 hours in it, no matter how much I’d like it.”

“I never said I was nice” She teased and shook her head. “But I might have at least considered it….maybe” She smirked. “Oh really? Maybe I’ll take you up on that offer…or steal a few pieces of popcorn when you’re not looking” She winked as she paid for her snacks.

“That is very true. I guess I will just make sure to keep it in mind.” He winked back at her teasingly. “I mean, stealing is crime and crimes should technically not go unpunished.” He laughed back at her, “So I guess your safest bet is just to ask nicely.”

“I do have a smartphone, but I’m actually thinking about entering it in the Guinness World Record competition for worst and slowest phone,” Frankie chuckled. “I’m sure it can manage your videos, though. Unless they’re an hour long or something,” she joked. A smile spread across her face at his offer, “okay, I’ll make you regret you said that. I’ll turn up at your place at a ridiculous hour and make you play with me. Okay, that sounded wrong,” she cringed at herself. “No regrets, I promise.” She meant it. She felt good after she had left, like she had just stepped into adulthood. “Yeah, I was just waiting for that special someone, you know? And I really feel like that’s you. I hope you know that this now means that you have to marry me, right?” She bit back her laugh, trying to sound serious. 

 Oliver chuckled back at her, “Right, that old, huh?” He asked her a bit out of curiosity, “Well as long as you can call and text I guess that is the most important.” He added, knowing the other things was mostly just a distraction if anything. “I mean it is live? So I am not sure.. But you can always try.” He shrugged back at her. He laughed, “I mean I kind of set myself up there now, didn’t I?” He smirked back at her, “Maybe not at an insane hour, but you could always drop me a text.” He added, not minding some company from time to time. “Good, I am glad to hear it.” He nodded back at her. His mouth fell open a little as she spoke, not sure wether or not she was joking, “I um... What?”

Maggie didn’t sleep. With the sound of a large bang, the redhead started to panic, it reminding her of what happened. Giving a small sigh as she was waiting for her cold brew, Maggie rubbed her temples last night. “Why was there so many bangs last night?” She really didn’t know who to ask about it, but it was really giving her more flashbacks than she normally had and it was exhausting for her. @ashtontnhqstarter​

 Oliver looked over at the female, knitting his eyebrows together for a moment before shrugging, “I don’t know, I didn’t hear anything on my end of town?” He said with a slight smile, “Did you check the local news?”

“You say that like I had any intentions of sharing to begin with” She raised a brow at him and laughed as she stepped up to the counter as the people in front of her dispersed. “It’s not that sour anyways. I can’t handle anything more sour than the gummy worms.” She noted. 

Oliver chuckled again, “I mean it would be awfully rude of you not to.” He smirked back at her, “But I guess lucky for you that you don’t have to as I have my own. But I am happy to spare a few should you ask nicely.” He added with a wink.

“Yes gummy worms, don’t knock ‘em” She stuck her tongue out at him before turning towards the snack stand. “I’ve always had a bigger sweet tooth than I know what to do with when it comes to candies, but gummy worms have always been the superior ones. Especially if they’re sour”

 Oliver laughed back at her, “Don’t worry, I am not judging.” He said, “Much anyway.” He added with a teasing wink. “Fair enough! I am trying to kick of the year with a new year, new me personally, but I am allowed a cheat day once in a while.” He grinned back at her. “Oof sour candy.. At least I won’t make oyu share.”

“Yeah…I hear that’s what parents do” She let out  a soft laugh as she shook her head. “Great, I can’t get through a movie without a bag of gummy worms” She admitted

 “Gummy worms?” He chuckled, “Fair enough, I am more of a popcorn and coke kind fo guy myself.” He said with a grin, “But let’s get you some of them then and head over”

“Yeah it’s harder to get into acting if you don’t live somewhere like Los Angeles or New York honestly.  You need to be somewhere that things actually happen.” Harmony agreed with a nod.

Oliver nodded, “I guess that is fair, honeslty.” He said. It made a lot of sense as thise were the more known scenes for that sort of thing. He could hear the music to the intro start playing in the background. “I guess the movie is starting. Well, good luck to you and your play. I will make sure to catch it once it is out.” He smiled back at her, “I should try and find my friends, but you enjoy your evening.” He said before walking in the direction if the chairs and the movie.

Vanessa was handing out flyers for the animal clinic fundraiser when she noticed someone who was walking by. “Hey excuse me I do not know if you noticed but your shoe is untied.” She said as she gestured to their foot.

 Oliver was walking home after finishing up his first YouTube video from a work out session. He had had so many requests as of recent to do so, so he had figured he might as well. He stopped when he spotted the familiar face, about to say hello when he heard her speak. He looked down at his shoes before laughing a little, “I thought I had shoved those into my sock already..” He said before lifting his foot up and shoving the strings back into it. “Hey.. How have you been?”
