It had been a couple months since you stopped going by the clubhouse.You got along with everyone there and hung around from time to time. As time went by you were Always at work or keeping yourself occupied so it didn’t leave you any time to stop by and visit the guys. Everyone was going through tough some personal struggles from Coco with his oxy habit and Angel screwing whatever moved. You figured no one would notice your absence. Angel however was looking forward to seeing you. You liked Angel but knowing his house had a revolving door you were quick to stop yourself from it getting any further. You knew better so when the chance opened up to work full time you saw it as a sign. You figured it was a good way to pull yourself from getting attached to him.

Everyone missed you at the club house including Steve, the new prospect. You were always nice to him. Angel and Ez we’re sitting at the bar when Creep asked Steve if you were here yet. “ no man. Not yet. I’m glad she’s coming by it’s been a while”

“Me too she hasn’t been around in months and I’ve been trying to get a hold of her” Angel said.

“I don’t think she’ll be here for long.She came by to pick up some stuff from Bishop ” Creep wanted to keep the conversation at a minimum. He knew you liked Angel and was sure seeing him with other women brought you down. Nonetheless not being around as much definitely helped. What you didn’t know was that Angel had feelings for you. He knew you deserved more so slowly but surely started to get his act together. He still had fun but it didn’t include a different woman every night.

“ look man if you want any chance with her right now might be the only time to do it ” Ez knew his brother got his act together and that he was on a mission to win your heart. Ángel went as far as having EZ take him to get tested for STDs. Not because his first thought was to sleep with you but because he wanted you to know how serious he is.

The last thing you wanted to do was stop by the clubhouse. You had a bad day at work and weren’t really in the mood to talk to anyone. But Bishop needed you to pick up something and you figured you couldn’t say no.

Alright let’s get this shit over with.

You entered the club house and were greeted with whistles and clapping. Angel looked happy to finally see you but what he didn’t know that your visit was straight business. You went by and gave the guys a kiss on the cheek with the exception of Angel. You were in whispers talking to Steve when all of a sudden you heard Angel shouting for you.

“Querida, why didn’t I get a kiss?”

“I mean I waved”

“Yeah but all these fools got a kiss and I didn’t”

“It might not be safe, I mean I don’t know where your mouth has been”

“ DAMN” everyone said in unicent. The guys wouldn’t be the guys if they didn’t instigate.

“Ouch, it’s like that huh”

You rolledyour eyes. You had no right but you weren’t in the mood.

You were always sweet and bubbly but the sass was out of leftfield for him. You went into templo to talk to Bishop and then when you came out You noticed Angel was gone.

Thank god. You didn’t mean to get an attitude but it was just too easy. You made your way to your car when you heard Angel call for you. You kept walking and next think you knew he threw you over his shoulder and sat you on the bench table

“put me down Reyes”

He sat you down and had both arms on each side blocking you from moving. You were averting his gaze and he got even more in your face. God, he smelled good. You were still avoiding eye contact. As you were looking down he tilted your chin up to look at him.

“Look at me. What was that all about?”

“What are you talking about?”

“ Nah, mi dulce don’t play dumb.”

You never judged anyone for having random hookups but having feelings for him made it hard for you not to.

“I mean you heard what I said inside. Do I have to repeat myself”

Angel smirked “ ooh I like when you’re sassy” you rolled your eyes.

“Look I'm sorry for my comment but you don’t have to explain yourself to me. You’re a grown man. You can fuck whatever random you want. Just leave it”

“Yea I do have to explain. Y/N, I like you. I mean really like you. Like I want you more than just someone who’s in my bed. I never asked you out because I didn’t want you to think you were just someone I was trying to sleep with. You deserve more than that but I want you to know I’m not doing that shit anymore.”

“Wait, you like me, since when?”

“Yes mi dulce remember the first time you were here. We walked outta templo and The prospect fell on his face” he laughed thinking about the memory. “Ignacio stop laughing at him. That's so mean. But what about it”

“ you helped him pick up the broken beer bottles and you didn’t have to. You were so nice to him. Someone you didn’t even know. Mamas you were so sweet all I wanted was some of that. I got to know you more and more and knew you deserved more than someone who was just sleeping around. I didn’t want you to think I was using you”

You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. He took your hands in his and gave you a light squeeze” all I’m asking for is a chance.” You were about to say something when he Interrupted “ Wait hold on I wanna show you something. ” He pulled a piece of paper out of his kutte pocket and handed it to you. You opened it and saw it was a paper from the Santo Padre Clinic that showed Angel was negative for HPV and other STD’s. You couldn’t help but let out a little laugh when you saw it. “I knew you were coming by today and wanted to show you I’m clean.I wanna take you on a date, buy you flowers and give us a chance. Well that’s if you let me.” You wrapped your arms around his neck pulled him to you noses touching and you sighed “ I like you too,Reyes and yes you can take me out”

You were about to kiss him when you thought of something.

“So, I guess you know what HPV is now?”

Angel laughed. “ Querida, shut up and kiss me”
