She strums once experimentally, giggling as the bears jump, then a few more times, counting, "Two, three, four," before she starts into the melody, which is happy and folksy. The pebby bears dance around the table, hopping and bouncing as she plays. Phoebe strums an ending note and watches the bears settle, then wheezes a laugh and says, "That was pretty great—" A couple more pebby bears slide down from above — one about half the length of the trio, and one that's two and three times as long as the trio with many legs to match — and she yells in surprise and then laughingly says, "Centipede pebby!" Incredible stuff happening. I want push notifications for every update. I hate push notifications.

I've been struggling so hard with something re: one of my kids and it sucks because I have to absolutely hide it from the kids and just be very clear in my unconditional support and love for them and acknowledgement that they will do things I don't particularly like sometimes but are still the right choice for them if it is true to themselves

But this isn't in the parenting manuals and I'm working through it all alone? this sucks this sucks this sucks
