Ā - kevin keller was born on march 15 to tom and rachel keller, and completely came as a surprise to the both of them. from a young age his parents wanted kevin to continue the tradition of remaining and military family not knowing that their son was going to break down many barriers.
-Ā as a child, kevin was one of the biggestĀ ānerdsā in his classes. heād beg his parents to take him to the comic book shop, buy him collectibles from tv commercials and online ads, buying new action figures, etc. while most of his classmates were playing sports, kevin would always sit on the sidelines and read.
- kevin was 12 years old when he started to realize he was finding his male classmates more attractive than he did with his female classmates. he was teased by both of his parents that he never had a girlfriend, making the claim that he wasnāt interested in any of the girls (which turned out to be incredibly true). kevin was also bullied for being more overweight than the other kids, and thankfully he had friends like betty cooper to be there for him.
high school;
- kevin came out to the both of his parents when he was 14, and the both of them took it well but were in uncomfortable territory. his mother became the person he spoke with about his attraction, and his father offering as much support as he could but kevin recognized heād never fully speak to his father about his sexuality.
- kevin officially came out during the summer of his freshman year of high school, and was one of few openly gay kids in the entire town at the time (that he was aware of). he didnāt have his first kiss until that summer at a wrestling camp his father sent him to (something he didnāt stop talking to betty about for months). most people in the town donāt seem to care, but kevin is aware of the deep rooted ignorance that surrounds people his fatherās age.
- this ignorance really showed in high school when kevin had been the victim of a terrible prank by the members of the JRROTC team. what started as a supposed walk through the woods ended with kevin being blindfolded and soon kicked by members of his team he called him derogatory and offensive terms. heād been kicked in the wrong place and ended up tearing his ACL because of a fall. the injury still bothers him to this day, and kevin lied about the situation to keep him out of trouble just saying he fell. it turned him off from the military and even his father questions what happened.
- most of his hook-ups were with men who were in the closet. when kevin started using grindāem, he realized that the town had way more men on the LGBT+ spectrum. kevin was 16 when he began to use the app, still being too insecure to really see how attractive he is. these hook-ups were usually in public places or the otherās house.
- when kevin became a bit more confident in himself, he really started to thrive. he became more interested in fashion and found his love of fashion that gave him the preppy-kevin look. he still kept his love of nerd culture that he doesnāt at all hide, and became interested in pop and modern culture.
- in high school, kevin was very involved in different organizations. he was involved in wrestling, writing articles for the blue and gold, RROTC, and directing the school plays.
present
- Kevin is a sophomore at Riverdale U with plans on moving to New York and working at a Public Relations Firm. Currently he works at the mayorās office interning under the PR director, hoping to get his foot in the door and also experience the more political side of the town.
- Kevin is also wanting to become an influencer. His is a YouTuber and Twitch streamer with a heavy following while also uploading videos of him singing onto the internet. He has a steady following with hopes of being able to monetize more than the money he is getting.
- Kevin is very out and proud, and even mentors several LGBT+ youth through a program recently started by the university.Ā
- Kevin is currently struggling balancing his work and social life, while also struggling in the dating department. His problems are also coming from working in the mayorās office during the tensions rising between the northsiders and southsiders. His supervisor has even been giving him a huge workload to take off her. Thereās also the issue of him being the person that many people go to, feeling as if heās trapped at times. And thereās also the issue that heās still attending school with the people that beat him while he was in high school.
personality;
kevin is an outgoing and charismatic person. he finds passion in a variety of things and tends to always give whatever heās doing 100 percent. heās not afraid to speak to anyone or push anyone in the direction he believes is best for him. this is why he is always pushing his best friend, betty cooper, to really go for what she deserves and is constantly standing up for her. heās very confident in his ability of getting things done, and becomes easily guilty if something goes wrong.
kevin thrives in social environments, and thatās why you can always find him being the life of the party. he never says no to a good time and loves to find pleasure in things. he loves hook-ing up because its always made him feel good, and makes him feel wanted. for most of his life he always watched as his friends were able to sleep around, date easily, etc. while he had to use his sherlock holmes skills just to see if other guys play for his team. itās why he so easily falls in love with other guys because he used to genuinely believe heād have to settle.
while kevin isnāt mean, he is a very blunt person. his honesty can come off as harsh in the wrong situation, but kevin is a person who believes in the truth and also doesnāt like being hidden. the one time he dated a closeted person he was more miserable than when he was single. he often speaks before running the thought through his mind and can quickly get defensive if the time arises.
kevin is also very impulsive. this can be shown when heās willing to hook-up with random guys he meets while going running through fox forest and getting drunk and hooking up with anonymous men. he can quickly fall victim to wanting pleasure or just feeling wanted.
