Late post. Undergoing some huge changes lately. I’m pretty stubborn when it comes to change but the #universe has been pushing me for a LONG time and I am tired of fighting 😂😂 I have always been highly sensitive and in tune with people’s feelings and energies but this last year it seems to have increased a lot. A friggen emotional roller coaster for sure! So if you see posts that are not for you that you do not agree with I won’t apologize cause I am not trying to hide anymore. I am becoming more myself unapologetically and that does not include people pleasing as my life always has been. I’m sure I will struggle with this here and there but as I listen to my intuition more and more I will be speaking my truth. I have always held in my feelings and not listened to my gut in the past in an effort to avoid conflict and keep the peace at the expense of losing myself. If you know me then you know my family is VERY important to me. Because of them I am still here and happy. Because of them I never stopped believing in myself because they always believed in me. Every Sunday we get together and do brunch wherever the wind takes us that day. Today it was a cute French bistro called @cafecuveeokc it was absolutely divine. We will definitely be returning. The day ended with tea and brainstorming at our favorite place All about cha in #bricktownokc I look forward to these days and love my family beyond measure. So I am fasting and made it through the day and should have just gone to bed. But instead of giving in and succumbing to junk I made kale chips roasted in grape seed oil and seasoned with sea salt. A perfect small snack to kill the cravings. So not a fully successful fasting day but #alkaline. We live in a world of illusions. Too much makeup, filters, lies and confusion. It’s ok to be the truth and show who you really are from time to time. Perpetrating the illusion 100% of the time contributes to our younger generation’s false view of beauty. We are to strive for perfection but we are not meant to be perfect. That is what makes us different....it’s what makes us beautiful. The more I see people beginning to look the same the more I want to be me. The more I am ok with being different. I am ok with my freckles, chubby cheeks and pouty not so big lips. Sure there are things I can do to enhance these and I do occasionally but I walk around more often than not without makeup and perfectly comfortable in my skin. Self love is the best love. When you love yourself you love everything about you. So go ahead and ENHANCE your already beautiful self but remember to LOVE everything beneath the enhancement and let it shine through from time to time. You are beautiful and I love you.
