Marley laughed; shaking her head and placing her hands on her hips. âThatâs funny. Gosh, I sort of wish I was just myself right now instead ofâŚSupergirl. Because you make it really hard not to kiss you when you say cute stuff like that,â Marley giggled. âBut you know the moment I do, someone in a traffic helicopter or something with spot us and then weâll make the news again.â
Once Hank emerged from the rooftop door, Marley breathed a huge sigh of relief. âI canât believe we actually pulled this off,â she said to both of them. She watched as the figure before her changed from assistant Marley Rose to Jâonn Jâonzz, and then again from Jâonn to Chief Hank Henshaw. It was the first time Marley saw such a transformation since she was taken over by red kryptonite. Somehow, knowing that made Marley sick to her stomach.
âIt was no trouble,â Henshaw responded, âAlthough I do have to wonder how you two put up with her all day.â
âDonât tempt me,â Jake said, reaching up to take off his cowl. He put back on his normal eye mask. But his plan to step forward for a kiss was interrupted by Hank arriving. âNow that itâs over, I can admit I wasnât sure it actually would,â Jake admitted. He laughed at Hankâs observation. âWell, I tend to avoid her. Marley is the saint here.â Jake stepped over and gave Marley a much quicker kiss than he wouldâve wanted, before turning to Hank. âThink you can turn into Supergirl and give us both a flight off this roof?âÂ
Jâonn rolled his eyes but in another moment, two Supergirls stood on the roof. âAlright, letâs get back home, Jâonn. Marley, Iâll see you tonight,â he said, readying himself as Jâonn picked him up by his shield. âTry to keep your mouth closed - unless you want to swallow bugs,â Jâonn warned. âGood luck with Cat, Supergirl,â he said, shooting her a wink. âUp, up, and away!â Jake couldnât help but say as they left the roof.Â

Cat left the set without so much as a thank-you before calling over âMolly.â Marley was ready to jump at her bossâs command before remembering she was not Marley, she was Supergirl â and âMarleyâ was already following Cat out of the studio and downstairs towards the elevator. Likely to find out the viewer count on the broadcast, Marley surmised.
âAlmost,â Marley repeated back to Jake, glancing at him with distress in her eyes, âShe almost publicized to the whole city that Patriot and Supergirl areâŚyou knowâŚâ She didnât want to speak too loudly on the chance that an assistant would eavesdrop and then deliver the gossip to Cat. She and Jake walked off set as they prepared to make their exit, thanking the assistants and producers for their time and for the opportunity. Hopefully, being able to share her good will on the air would convince the skeptical New Yorkers that Marley was back to her normal self.
âAt least itâs over,â she added, stopping at the dressing room to pick up her purse. At some point, she and Henshaw would need to make another switch back to normal â they had arranged to meet on the roof of the CatCo building, since it was the only place on the premises not surrounded by surveillance cameras. âIs it bad I would have preferred fighting off some alien to being interviewed?â
âWell,â Jake said, picking up his shield as they left behind the set. âSupergirl and Patriot arenât anything.â They werenât anything officially to the public at least. âI feel good about the interview. It didnât go horribly, thatâs a success when it comes to the press,â he shrugged, putting his shield on his back. For all of his years both answering to the press and working for them, this definitely counted as a win. At her comment about fighting aliens, Jake let out a chuckle. âIâd have to agree with you there,â he said, nudging her elbow. âBut Iâd bet you that this is the only interview we have to do for this year.â
Jake let Marley lead the way to the stairs up to the roof so that she and Hank could switch places again. âYou know, you could always leave Hank here to cover for you while we go back to my place,â he grinned. âThough now that I think about it, Cat will start questioning why you sound like a soldier today...â
Is that a real knife? Yes, itâs a real knife.

If there was one thing Marley Rose was notoriously bad at, it was lying. Unfortunately, that lack of skill carried through to Supergirlâs demeanor. Her heart began to race at Catâs insinuation and her eyeâs darted towards Jakeâs â which were, again, conveniently shielded by the cowl. He could literally be making faces of absolute disgust at Cat Grant and not one person in the studio would know it.
Marley waved her hand, almost as though she was batting away the idea of dating Patriot. âOh no. The two of us are partners in crime-fighting only,â she declared. Catâs arched brow indicated she wasnât completely buying it. Marley knew giving Jake a panicked expression would clearly draw attention to her in the interview â so instead, she tapped her knee to his, attempting to make it look accidental. Wasnât that what Jake told her to do when she felt stuck during this whole thing?
Suddenly, the arch in Catâs brow furthered â the CEO noticed â but was keeping quiet for now.
Jake swallowed, reconsidering having the full cowl for any time he faced Cat. It was coming in handy. But he kept a level head, and when Marley tapped his knee, he sat forward. âThereâs no time to date someone, let alone another hero. Itâs just not in the job description. Itâs like dating someone that you work with,â Jake shrugged, trying to play it off. âHonestly, dating within the superhero community is generally a bad idea.â He turned to the camera, âUnless your name is Reed Richards, of course,â he allowed with a small chuckle.Â
The rest of the interview went over a little better and they survived the questions that came together without the need for any more signals. âThank you for joining us today, and a big thank you to Supergirl and Patriot,â Cat said, turning to smile at the camera as she signed off. âIâm Cat Grant, back to you, Brent.â The camera man counted them out before the red light above the camera disappeared and Jake let out a breath of relief. âAlmost painless,â he whispered to Marley as they stood.

âAh, yes,â Cat sat back into her hair, nodding her head knowingly at Jakeâs response, âYesterdayâs rescue of Flight 709. A rather brazen move for a fallen heroine. But I will admit that it seems to have boosted Supergirlâs approval rating.â
âIâm fully committed to regaining the trust of the people of New York,â Marley said earnestly, âMy lapse in judgement has cost their faith in me, but Iâm absolutely working towards getting it back. I just want to be the same hero they remembered meeting months ago.â
While the interview carried on, Marley felt herself become more relaxed, largely due to Jake. His pep talk earlier resonated with her; whenever she felt herself becoming anxious, his words echoed in her ears. Finally, Marley had her own relief once Cat focused some questions towards Jake.
âPatriot,â she started, âI wonder, if we could just backpedal for a moment â what was it like realizing your partner in heroism had gone rogue?â
Marleyâs eyes looked downwards at the question. It seemed as though Cat wasnât at all holding back.
Jake inwardly winced when Marley used the words âlapse in judgement.â It made it sound like she had been the one at fault. But if the people knew that something could make Supergirl lose control like that, they wouldnât trust her again. But once the hard questions were out of the way, Cat went back to ones that were much more easily handled by them both. Marley didnât have to turn around and answer her own question.Â
And then Cat went below the belt as she focused on him. âWhen I recognized that Supergirl wasnât herself, I threw myself into bringing her back,â he said. âI wouldâve given anything to get her mind out of that darkness and keep the people safe.â Cat gave him a strange look at that, but pushed on. âWhat exactly did happen to Supergirl?â she asked, looking between them both.Â
Jake quickly answered, âObviously, thatâs classified. But the people of New York no longer have anything to fear. Patriot and Supergirl are stronger than ever.âÂ
A smile came to Catâs lips at that. She sat forward, crossing her legs at the knee. âTell me about that,â she said. âJust how strong is the bond between Supergirl and Patriot? One has to wonder whether thereâs a new super couple in New York City.âÂ
PARA || Interview Etiquette
Even though Catâs question was completely valid, Marley felt her stomach twist and turn of nerves. Regardless, it was immensely important to maintain a strong composure  âTo be completely honest,â Marley began, maintaining eye contact with the woman opposing her, âThere was no real reason why I chose that night specifically. Iâve always felt a real need to help people, but I was sort of ambivalent since Iâve kept my powers hidden for so long.â
âAh, yes,â Cat said, crossing her legs, âThe reminder that both Supergirl and Patriot are simply part of the masses. âAlthough, you havenât always felt a need to help people, have you, Supergirl? Care to comment on last monthâsâŚincident?â
Crap. The moment Marley was hoping wouldnât arrive. She wished Cat didnât dive right into the uncomfortable questions at the start of the interview, but then again, this was Cat Grant, and she was never one to beat around the bush. She gave a sideways glance towards Jake; being fully masked, it was impossible to read his facial expression. She inhaled at the question and just remembered Jakeâs advice.
ââŚDid I need to take a break? Yes, yes I did.â
Jake sat back, giving Marley the space to answer things for herself. And when that confidence came out, he couldâve cheered but stayed neutral. It helped that Marley was so used to Cat, or else this interview couldâve been a lot scarier. But the older woman surprised both of them by jumping right from Marleyâs first night as Supergirl to the âincidentâ. When Marley looked to him, he longed to reach out and squeeze her hand in reassurance - but live television. Jake couldnât help his smile when she shot back and answered exactly how he suggested.Â
âI think something that the people donât understand is how stressful things can get for us,â Jake mused. âStressful?â Cat asked, turning on him. âAs I recall, those days were stressful for the people nearly zapped to ashes. Are the people of New York supposed to give Supergirl a pass because sheâs super?â Jake inwardly sighed, feeling like things were quickly getting out of his control. âThe people have nothing to fear from Supergirl any longer,â he said in a calm, strong voice that Hank had taught him to use over the communicator. âShe is back to help everyone, as she has clearly shown.â
PARA || Interview Etiquette
Marley gave Cat a friendly smile to further sell her on the idea of Jake keeping his cowl. âHm,â Cat placed her thumb against her lips, pondering Jakeâs words, âI rarely say this to my guests, but I suppose youâre right. Fair enough if we have Supergirl fully visible to our audience, after all, she is likely who most of our viewers will focus on.âÂ
Cat turned to take her place on the interview set, sitting in a single armchair placed slightly left of center â to her right was a matching loveseat, obviously meant for Patriot and Supergirl. Marley eyed her surroundings and felt herself becoming slightly nervous again. There were camera crews, light crews, photographers â including James, yikes â and dozens of assistants. One of which was her â or at least Henshaw in the form of Marley Rose. She turned to Jake and gave him a wide grin, stifling laughter as Cat called her assistant over.
âMolly, I need you to update our social media pages during the interview. Make sure you are tweeting behind the scenes pictures with your cell phone. We want as many people across the nations tuning in.â
âCertainly, Miss Grant,â Marley heard herself reply in a much more stoic voice than usual. She gave Jake a knowing look before two other assistants ushered Patriot and Supergirl to the loveseat.
âAll right,â The cameraman said from behind his lens, focusing the scene into view, âWe stream live in five, four, three, twoâŚâ
Marley braced herself for the countdown. How was this more nerve-wracking than fighting actual crime?
Luckily, Cat didnât press the issue of his cowl further. Jake set down his shield on a nearby table, wanting it close in case anything happened. While Marley probably hoped for a reason to escape, Jake didnât mind doing the interview. Especially when it solidified Marleyâs cover at work. Speaking of which, Jake shook his head at Marleyâs wide grin. âNo laughing at her,â Jake teased under his breath. Hank gave them both a look before moving back out of the cameraâs way.Â
Jake walked over to take his seat on the couch, fixing his gloves and sitting still as they fitted a microphone to his uniform. âThere you go, Patriot,â the guy said, looking like he was fangirling a little. Jake fist bumped the guy before turning to face Cat for the beginning of the interview.Â
âHello and welcome to the 2 oâclock news. As you already know, Iâm Cat Grant. And today, Iâm joined by two of New Yorkâs most famous heroes, the well-known Patriot and the more recent Supergirl,â she said, turning to look at them rather than the camera. âNow,Â
âDid some PR agent put the two of you together or did you find each other?â she asked.Â
âSupergirl and I first met during a bank robbery,â Jake answered easily. âOh yes, I remember now. Supergirlâs first big day. Now, looking at you, Iâd say that youâre old enough to have done this sooner. Why did you choose that day, that crime to make your debut?â Cat asked, turning the questions to Marley.Â
PARA || Interview Etiquette
Marley felt as though she could sink into the chair once Jakeâs hands were on her shoulders; it was sort of astounding how one interview could put her into a total frenzy, meanwhile fighting criminals and catching airplanes didnât phase her one bit. âThank you,â she replied, thanking him for literally everything â his support and comfort through the interview process and his dedication towards her safety. In that moment, Marley realized how lucky she truly was â it wasnât often a super heroine could say she landed her workplace crush who also happened to be a superhero.
âI donât know what Iâd do without you,â she added, smiling. Marley lifted the bottom of Jakeâs cowl and placed her lips softly to his, humming lightly. âThis is probably the primary reason why I prefer your usual gear,â she smirked, before securing the cowl under his chin again.
A knock at the door interrupted her. âPatriot? Weâre on in five minutes, Miss Grant wants you and Supergirl out here now,â an assistant called from the other side of it. Marley grinned.
âReady to show the city what weâre made of?â
âYouâre welcome,â he said warmly. Jake knew that the best chance they had at getting through this interview and the rest of their lives was by working together. When she freaked out, he could calm her down. When he lost his head, sheâd be there to calm him down too. It was the give and take of two people matched for each other. âWithout me, youâd probably go crazy,â he teased, reaching his hands out to rest on her hips as she lifted up his cowl for a kiss. He hummed into it, interested in seeing what another few kisses would do but she had already pulled back to fix his mask. âMe too,â he grumbled.Â
When they were called for, Jake stood up and smoothed out his uniform. Turning to Marley, he gave her a thumbs up. âThis is going to go well,â he told her. As they left behind his dressing room, Jake let Marley take the lead out into the set for the interview. âOh Iâm going to lose it,â he whispered quiet enough that only Marley would hear. And Jâonn. In a skirt in heels. As his girlfriend. âIf that doesnât keep you calm through this, nothing will,â he said, tapping her hip with his shield.Â
âPatriot, Supergirl, welcome to the-- Oh, now thatâs disappointing,â Cat spoke as she appeared. âDid you really have to go back to the old costume, darling? You look so much more handsome in just the eye mask.âÂ
Jake rolled his eyes behind the cowl. âIâll keep that in mind. But for live interviews, Iâm afraid that the cowl is a must. Iâm sure you can make an exception, after all, youâve got Supergirlâs full face. Think of it as a.. compromise.âÂ

âThat wonât be too obvious?â Marley asked, searching Jakeâs cowl for his eyes. She knew he could very well see her through it, although it didnât appear that way. âI mean the office already knows Jake Puckerman and Marley Rose are together, but we canât say the same forâŚPatriot and Sueprgirl. And what do I even say about going off the rails? Do I talk about red kryptonite? Wonât that scare people once they find out about a potentially dangerous substance that still exists somewhere in the city?â
She rattled off more questions and concerns, sitting down in the chair opposite Patriotâs vanity mirror. All of the worry had been pent up in her for the past twenty-four hours, and even though she and Jake came up with a resolution to navigate the situation, she was still so frazzled.
âIâm sorry, Iâm really starting to babble now,â Marley said, interrupting her own thoughts, âBut Iâm not like you, babe. Iâve never done this sort of live appearance beforeâŚI mean, outside of saving the city, thatâs obviously always liveâŚby the way, I am so glad you dropped the full cowl, because I really kind of miss seeing the lower half of your face,â she giggled, attempting to alleviate some of the stress.
Jake wondered if she was reading his amusement behind the cowl with her X-Ray vision. He knew she would be nervous, but not this nervous. Supergirl was definitely spiraling out of control. Walking over to stand behind her, Jake carefully moved her hair out of the way before massaging her shoulders in an attempt to loosen her up a bit. âFirst of all,â he said, âTake a deep breath. Second, thanks, I miss not sounding muffled.â He moved around to lean against the table beside her, facing her and looking at her.Â
âWhen it comes to us, Patriot and Supergirl are only partners in crime. If it got out that they were involved, Iâve got enemies in my past that would come for you. And I donât want that,â he said, crossing his arms over his chest. âSo if they ask, just deny it. As for red kryptonite, we donât want anyone out there knowing that itâs been created. It would ruin the trust that youâve worked so hard to regain,â he murmured, taking off one of his gloves so that he could reach his hand up and fix her hair.Â
âI will find who created it and targeted you, Marley,â he said quietly. âBut for now, only answer the questions that you want to answer. For other questions? Letâs say that she asks you why you went AWOL. You say back, did I need to take a break? Yes, yes I did. See? You answer her question with your own question and then you answer that.â
PARA || Interview Etiquette
As it stood, Marley had no choice but to âlocateâ Supergirl for the scheduled interview the following afternoon. She and Jake had laid out the plan that evening after work: Jake would call out sick first thing in the morning, and Marley would arrive to CatCo as usual. However, come shortly before 2 PM â the time of the interview â she would make the switch with Henshaw â he would morph into Marley, and Marley would arrive on the scene as Supergirl. Jake would arrive, too, with his face completely covered by his cowl so that no one would be able to even have the chance to recognize him, either. They would be good sports and sit in on the forty-five minute live-stream, answering questions together before Cat dismissed them. If they were lucky, a crime would interrupt the interview and force them to leave early.
By 1:45 that afternoon, Marley excused herself to use the ladies room â instead of using the ladies room, though, she boarded the elevator and made her way to the top floor, the floor in which the studio was located for the well-advertised interview. Before entering the studio, Marley ducked into a ladies room so that she could change out of her summer dress and into the full-on Supergirl suit. Once her attire was in place, she texted Henshaw: Let me know when youâve made it to my desk. Cat is probably looking for you.
Walking into the studio, Marley kept her phone close by as producers and assistants greeted her with enthusiasm. âSupergirl!âOne of them beamed, looking utterly starstruck, âCat will be here shortly. Can I get you anything, water or coffee?â
âNo, thank you,â Marley replied politely, slightly taken aback by the celebrity treatment â this was her first televised interview, and although she was considered a star by New Yorkâs standards, she hadnât been quite used to othersâ behavior in this way. âCould you tell me where Patriot is right now?â
âHis dressing room,â the assistant replied, âItâs just the last door on the right,â he tilted his head in the direction.
âGreat, thank you,â Marley smiled, heading off towards the destination. The door was closed â for good reason, Marley surmised â she knocked on it twice, but didnât wait for Jake to respond before letting herself in and closing the door.
âOkay,â she sighed, leaning against the door, âHenshaw should be downstairs preparing Miss Grant for the interview and Iâm ninety-nine percent certain no one saw me take the elevator up here, so weâre safe for now.â
Jake and Hank hung out in his apartment, giving Jake the opportunity to learn Jâonn Jâonzz full story. He would have to tell Marley the story later, so that sheâd know she wasnât the only person who had last an entire planet and family. Jake knew that this history could only bond his mentor and Marley more closely. It helped pass the time while they both waited for the afternoon to arrive. Jake did his best to help Hank move the way Marley did. But it was hard to focus when he was trying not to laugh. âDammit, Jake, be serious!â Marley!Hank scolded him. âIâm sorry. Itâs just weird. Okay, try again,â he said.Â
By the time 1:45 rolled around, Jake knew that things were as good as they were going to get. While âMarleyâ got off on the office floor, Patriot rode all the way up to the top for the interview. Jake idly scratched at the cowl that dug into the back of his neck, remembering why he didnât like the thing in the first place.Â
When he exited, an attendant was there to guide him to a dressing room. âI guess you donât need to change, or have makeup,â they mused, looking him over. Â âIâll just be back when theyâre ready for you on set.â Jake nodded and waited until the door had closed to get some water for himself. Walking around in the full suit in the middle of the day was way hotter than he was used to.Â
The door opened and Jake turned around, pulling his cowl back on over most of his face. âGood job, love,â he said proudly. Jake walked over and greeted her with a kiss before pulling back to bring his cowl the rest of the way down. âJust - donât be nervous. And if youâre going to be nervous, then use the nerves. Itâs just an interview. We already know that sheâll ask about your debut, then when you went AWOL, and the plane. If you get nervous, just tap your knee to mine or something and I can talk,â he shrugged.Â

Marley cheered, flailing around a bit with one hand while using the other to keep the towel around her body. âYou are a genius, Jake,â she exclaimed excitedly, approaching him and pressing a sweet kiss to his lips, âAnd if Marley and Supergirl are in the same place at the same time, I can relax a little knowing no one will suspect who I really am. But what about you?â She started to feel a little guilty; it felt as though she was celebrating prematurely especially considering Henshaw hadnât even been informed of this idea. Plus, would anyone become suspicious when they realized one of Catâs photographers hadnât made it to the gig?
She turned and walked back to her bedroom, again, expecting Jake to follow, before she replaced her towel with the work attire sheâd been in before the airplane fiasco. âI just donât want anyone to get the wrong idea about you or get suspicious that you areâŚexactly who you say you arenât,â she babbled, âwhich isnât true in the first place, but obviously you have to protect yourselfâŚâ
Jake grinned, giving her a light hug when she came for a kiss. But he was quick to let go or else heâd start pulling the towel off of her and they had to get back to work sometime. When she asked about him, Jake shrugged his shoulders. âJake the cameraman will call out sick. And Patriot will bring his full cowl back out,â he reasoned. As she moved back towards her bedroom, Jake followed again, turning his head to look out on the city that they both protected.Â
He smiled to himself as she spoke her fears about him and his secret identity. They were all fears that he had faced over the years. âYou forget how long Iâve been doing this, love,â he said, turning around and walking over to her. His hands ran along her arms soothingly. âThis is just a small bump. Weâve faced way worse than Cat Grant before,â he chuckled.Â
Pressing a quick kiss to her lips, Jake pulled back and gathered up his camera bag. âNow come on, weâve got to get you back to the office before you actually get in trouble,â he said.Â

Tossing her phone towards the sofa, Marley turned around and headed towards the shower. She stripped out of her undergarments and turned the water on, stepping into the showerâs stream. âOkay, I donât get scared by much,â she called over the running water, âBut Iâm officially freaking out. This is a disaster.â
More concerned comments regarding the situation flew out of Marley as she showered. Jake was right; Marley was able to finish scrubbing the Hudson River off her in minutes. After turning the water off, she wrapped a towel around her body, holding it up as she scrambled back to her bedroom.
âWait a minute,â Marley grinned at the thought of the idea, hurrying back towrds the living room where she left Jake. ââŚWhat about Chief Henshaw?â Marley inquired, giving Jake an inquisitive look, âDo you think he would be willing to shape-shift into one of us for the interview? I know itâs a huge, huge favor to ask him, but it would really help avoid getting someone fired.â It was a long shot â especially considering Henshawâs reveal as something other than human â but it was the only option, at least in Marleyâs eyes.
Jake reached a hand back to massage the back of his neck where he could feel tension building. This was a disaster, she was right. Jake had never done a televised interview. He only did photographs or met with Cat on the roof of her building. This was an entirely different monster. Of the heroes he knew, Tony Stark was the only one who had done interviews on camera. He listened to Marley rant from the shower, nodding along with everything she said.Â
When the water turned off and she came back out to where he sat, Jake looked up. âHenshaw?â he echoed. âHe might be willing, but I donât know that the DEO will like him showing off his shifting abilities...â Then again, the DEO didnât have to know. âOkay, weâll ask him to help us out. I know that he would. The complication is that heâll have to - well, heâll have to be Marley Rose,â Jake winced. Patriot and Supergirl would be on television, so Hank couldnât be either of them. And Jake was nowhere near as important to Cat as Marley was. âBut!â he said, jumping up. âIf people see Marley Rose and Supergirl in the same room together, then theyâll know that thereâs no possible way that the two of them could be the same person!â

âOh gosh,â Marley put her hand to her lips, covering the perfect âoâ that was formed by her lips in realization. âCrap, Jake, youâre right,â she turned around to face him as she shimmied her shoulders out of her uniform. âI smell like dirty water, which is sort of bad enough, but what if someone at work notices!? Plus the hair, Iâd be totally busted.â She held her head in her hands, but her concerns were interrupted â her cell phone sounded from her purse, resting against the couch in the living room.
âOh, crap!â Marleyâs brows furrowed in concern as she called over her shoulder, âThereâs only one person who ever calls me in the middle of the day, and that would beâŚâ She rummaged around in her purse for the phone, answering it by the fourth ring.
âMiss Grant!â Marley exclaimed.
âMolly,â The unimpressed tone sounded on the other end, âEnd your already too-long lunch hour and come back to your desk. I need you to locate Supergirl and track her down. I want her to sit in on the interview with Patriot.â
âW-what?â Marley replied, probably sounding a little too surprised.
âUnlike you, Molly, I didnât stutter. Schedule them to come in tomorrow afternoon. And make sure James and Jason are available. This will be televised and I need them to take photographs.â Click. Cat finished the command without even hearing Marleyâs response, in her typical fashion.
Oh shit.
Jake chuckled when she covered her mouth in embarrassment. âItâs okay, youâve got time for a shower. You do know youâre faster than a speeding bullet, right?â he teased, starting to button up the shirt so that he didnât go back to work bare-chested. They both turned at the sound of her phone. He tucked in his shirt and followed her out to middle of the loft. Donât get distracted by nakedness, he thought to himself. That wasnât hard to do when he heard Cat Grantâs voice on the other line.Â
His jaw lowered as Cat dropped her request on Marley. Supergirl and Patriot being interviewed with Marley and Jake in the room. âShit,â he said.Â
âThereâs no way,â he said. âI donât know about you, but I donât have a clone waiting around to be used. I guess I could just call in for a sick day. And if itâs going to be televised, I can bring back the full cowl...â But that didnât solve Marleyâs side of the problem.Â
