This was supposed to be done by Zen’s birthday, but sadly it wasn’t in the stars >_< Neither was me participating in LovelyZenWeek. I wonder if it would be okay for me to pile a bunch of last minute art together so I technically did contribute.

It’s an idea I’ve had for months. I haven’t seen this idea done yet in great detail, but I wonder if Zen ever saw his and MC’s future in his “psychic dreams.” And I ran with it, revealing my 3 fankids for them. Like a lot of people I think their oldest child would be a daughter who looks like Zen, but afterwards they have a son and one more daughter who look more like their mom. 

ANYWAY, I’m sadly still really busy and it’s tough balancing out real life with doing art, school, side projects, and family. So I’ll still need a little time to get back to all your asks and messages but I will make it one day :’)

ISN’T HE BEAUTIFUL

(Note: This is a definite AU of my AU)

“We need to talk.” He raised an eyebrow at her, her tone serious for one. She took a deep breath. “I’m pregnant.”

“What do you mean you’re pregnant?” His voice was cold, and she looked down, wrapping her arms around herself defensively. 

“Probably happened the one time the condom broke,” She said quietly. 

“You said that you were on birth control. You said not to worry.” He said, anger seeping into his tone. 

“I was! I still am!” She responded, angry in return. It had happened early in their relationship, but she was positive it would be okay. Their protection had failed, but she had a back-up. But here they were. “It fails sometimes. And it failed on us.”

He was pacing in front of where she was sitting on the couch at this point, scoring angry lines into her carpet.

“What are you gonna do?”

“I want to keep it.” She said quietly, anxious for his response. He didn’t reply verbally. He stared at her for a second, expression unreadable, and then he was out the door, slamming it behind him.

“Fuck.” She mumbled, pulling her legs up and wrapping her arms around her knees. She had kind of expected this reaction from him, but it still stung that he had left without saying anything. 

She wasn’t how long she had sat there, lost in her thoughts, and she flinched when the door flew open again. He had a determined look on his face and he ended up on his knees in front of the couch where she was, taking her hand in his.

“I am not my father.” He said firmly, and she looked at him confused, and he continued. “I will not abandon you.”

He stood, pulling her up with him, wrapping his arms around her. 

“I am not my mother. I will protect you and our baby, from anything, including myself,” He told her, and she buried her face in his neck, almost feeling overwhelmed. 

“I’m here for you.” He whispered. It felt like he was convincing himself just was much as he was trying to convince her. 

I MADE A COMIC

I just couldn’t get over the fact that V somehow didn’t think to use a wig or anything when infiltrating Magenta. (I mean, Zen, or Seven would have happily provided one, but then again, SECRETS SECRETS SECRETS) Nope, just running around with his NEON MINT COLORED HAIR in plain sight, even with his cultist hood up. Not like that’s…recognizable…

See, I know this was sent only to provoke me, and that I probably shouldn’t respond– but I’m going to anyway because I know you want me to admit that V did bad things.

Truths in your ask:

“brainwashed his girlfriend into changing herself so he can love her the way he thinks is best with no regard to her feelings”– Half true. Brainwash? No. Attempt to change her? Yes– but Rika wanted him to. V and Rika enabled each other. Plus, V definitely cared about her feelings and how people thought of her.

“then has the gall to say he never loved her and send her into mental breakdown” – So what? He said he never loved her. He was young when he met Rika, and confused. He didn’t know where to go in his life so he attached himself to Rika on the simple fact that “she understood me,” and Jumin does the same exact thing with MC in his route. He was just finally realizing part of the reason their relationship was so toxic. What would you have him rather do? Lie and say that he still loves her?

“He’s rude to his best friend. Keeps secrets from all his other friends” – Yeah. V mistreats Jumin as a friend. He lied and went against his trust. Jumin was kind enough to not give up on Jihyun, and frankly, friendships can be mended and repaired. He kept secrets either to preserve Rika’s image, or to protect Seven from his father. Were those necessarily the best reasons? No, but they’re his reasons and you have to understand that he isn’t meant to be a character that thinks logically.

“At least Rika did RFA” – You right

Things that aren’t true in your ask:

“I haven’t seen him do one good thing in the whole story.” – Then I guess you didn’t play the damn game, because there are a lot of good things V did in the game:

Co-founded a charity organization

Donated/auctioned off his works to charity

Took the Choi twins out of an abusive home (and yes, that did go south, but he either A- couldn’t prevent what happened or B- had a reason)

Took food to MC when Saeran was literally starving her

Prevented Saeran from forcing MC to take the Elixir

Tried several times to save the MC, knowing he may fail, and trying again even after he was caught

Actively collected evidence against the Prime Minister throughout the years so, whenever the time came, it would be next to impossible for the PM to escape justice and thus keeping the twins safe

Constantly asked MC to watch over and help Saeran, whom he obviously cared about as he referred to Saeran as “the child.”

And a lot of other little things that I may have missed but I know other people can add-on

Things that bug me in your ask:

“I don’t understand what you like about V. He’s soo whiney and apologizes every 2 seconds.” – A lot of people who apologize constantly are victims of emotional (and sometimes physical) abuse. I know this may be a preference thing for you, but don’t be so quick to equate constant apologies = annoying. V suffered from both kinds of abuse. Of course he will say sorry constantly. It’s probably a reflex. I, also, personally never saw V as whiny- but moreso difficult. I understand that his personality doesn’t mesh well with others. However, I can understand how V thinks easily or why he does X or Y thing.

“At least Rika did RFA” – Oh! Well, isn’t that dandy? Here’s a list of other things Rika did:

Kidnapped someone

Verbally and emotionally abused someone

Physically abused someone

Mutilated someone

Started an illegal cult

Committed manslaughter

(most likely) Embezzled/Illegally acquired money

(most likely) Subdued former guests of RFA parties to become members of Mint Eye

Knowingly drugged someone, and most likely multiple people

Attempted to drug several others at the RFA party via drugged wine, knowing it was drugged

Attempted to murder someone

This list also probably goes on!

Anyway, thanks for the passive-aggression, uhm. I like V because I think he’s really kind and sweet and I can understand why he does what he does, though I do not agree with some of it.
