it’s truly one of the best bollywood movies I’ve watched in recent years, it’s the kind of movie where the main focus is on the the growth of the characters where their emotions and relationships with each other are the core of it instead of the usual dose of (unnecessary item songs, unrealistic fighting montages, cringy dialogues and the heroine being used as a steppingstone to further the heros man pain) believe it or not that kinda of cinema it gets old folks, anyway dan i loved him!! he only had to put that kid on that room service cart and leave him there to fend for himself a cHILd and instantly he made his way into my list of favorite characters and the movie’s background score, god… “chefs kisses” it’s absolutely haunting… play “october’s theme” anywhere near me and i WILL start crying… shoutout to the supporting cast for wonderful performances, varun did an outstanding job as expected, and banita is promising, i do wish she had the chance to showcase her acting abilities more tho but for what her character demanded from her she surly delivered. it was overall a lovely film it’s a shame it did not get the recognition it deserved but alas if your movie doesn’t promote misogyny, racism or the sexual objectification of women it’s deemed unworthy of praise.
