“Well my mama wants me to come home for break; but I kinda wanna stay in Carolina. Maybe I’ll get a job down at the shore or somethin’. Don’t know yet… You?”

“Well maybe we can take a trip to go see her for a week. I mean I know I’m not going back to Washington anytime soon. My parents don’t really wanna see me.” 

“It really ain’t all that creepy. It’s more sad if anythin’.”

“Yeah....so anyways. Do you have any plans for the summer? Because I feel like we need to have some beach days or plan a get away or something.”

“I’m sure I’d grow used to it. I mean, I’ve been called worse.”

“I would never call you anything worse. And it’s still creepy, but whatever.”

“Why Luanne? That ain’t even my real name or somethin’.”

“I don’t know. Cuz it’s not your name and you would hate it.”

“Three? That’s what I would call a tight schedule. I still have some time until we have any games to play. Impressive for a girl, I have to say.”

“Yeah, we have the end of the season coming up. So then I start practicing for normal cheer for football. It never ends.”

“Mmhmm. Workin’ on our flexibility, are we?”

“Keep teasing me and i’m going to start calling you Luanne.”

“You will probably feel different tomorrow.”

“Yeah that’s true. We got like three competitions coming up for cheer so I’ve been in the gym everyday.”

“Practicin’ what exactly, A?”

“Don’t give me that look. It’s Comp Cheer and gymnastics. Nothing to big.”
