“Could we get some pizza too?” She bit her lip looking up at him.

“something i thought was over five years ago.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Thank you! That;s so nice of you to say!”

Shane kissed her lips back pulling her closer to him, he kissed her cheek then and hugged her softly. “C’mon, let’s get you home. You must be starving? I will order anything you want —- or just make lydia cook you something.”

She smiled wide and nodded, “I am very hungry, but I don’t wanna make Lydia cook. We can just order something. Chinese food sounds really good right now.” Natalie said with a giggle.

“Did you make this..?”

“I did. Does it taste alright?”

“Hey, you, do you know you’re beautiful?”

“Oh, Thank you. You’re beautiful too.”

“It must be weird, though. Coming back and all.”

“It is, but it’s also really nice to see the ones you love again.”

“are you apologizing for dying? Are you bloody insane?” he sighed mumbling against her neck. “I love you, ok? I’m so —– I can’t believe you’re actually here, again —- with me. I’ve thought and dreamed of this moment, I’m just —- glad, you’re not a project of my imagination anymore but that you’re —- real.finally real.”

Natalie blushed, “Sorry, that was stupid..I love you too, Shane.” She said softly looking up at him. Natalie got on her tippy toes and kissed his lips softly.

Shane had dreamt many times of this moment, the moment he would hold Natalie in his arms one more time —- before she was taken away from him. She was here —- alive and breathing. He wanted to question how, but all he could do was hold her firmly in his arms and never let go. Afraid this could be just another of his hallucinations. “You’re here —- with me. Oh God Nat —- I missed you..I missed you so much.”

“I missed you too, Shane..I’m so sorry,” Natalie looked down, “I never wanted to leave you, I wasn’t strong enough to live..” She looked back at him.”But now we have a second chance.” she said smiling softly. 

“Hard not to be.”

“Yeah, but I’m okay now.”

“Yeah, at least you are relax about that”

“Yeah. I’m very thankful for being alive again.”

“Right, well. You normally don’t. But you have to start expecting the unexpected around here.”

“You’d think I would have already, I lived here most of my life.”

his hands were shaking as she took his, his first reaction was to pull them back, blinking his eyes faster than usual as he tried to wake himself up from what seemed to be another of his hallucinations, only this time — he actually felt her touch, her presence was warmer. he stood speechless staring at the girl —- that he would always call the love of his life. “n-natalie?” he mumbled as felt as what he could describe as his  heart  being dropped to his stomach, taking a small step towards the girl. “oh g-god..natalie, you’re here —- you’re REALLY here.”

She frowned as he moved his hands away from hers.Natalie knew it was hard to believe, she was still surprised herself. Then she looked back at him, he just stared at her. Natalie nodded slowly and hugged Shane tight. “I’m here..” She said burying  her face into his neck. The girl felt great being back in his arms again.She pulled away after a moment and looked up at Shane, smiling slightly.

“Oh, I’m sorry about that…”

“I’m alive now, it's okay.”

“You, uh, I’m so sorry.”

“It’s alright. Don’t be sorry.”

“ — the fuck you’re NOT ! go away, get out of my head, p l e a se, get out..”

“I know it's hard to believe, but I am..” She whispers softly and takes his hands, squeezing them slightly.
