It’s very overwhelming to think of the person I’m going to end up with. Whoever that is, is alive right now out there somewhere in the world. Stressing about things I know nothing about. Maybe they’re hurting. Maybe they just broke someone’s heart by leaving. Maybe they’re patient. I need someone patient. Maybe they’re kind. The kind of kind that my parents like. Maybe I know them now, or knew them once and it won’t work out. Maybe I missed it. Or maybe I didn’t. I’ve heard songs that make me think of you and I’m waiting. Maybe I should be patient.
