I was going through old posts and I distinctly remember my ex saying that having Gifts as a Love Language is just being materialistic and that he couldn’t keep up with it (or rather, refused to). But I had to keep telling him that it was the thought behind it that counts (btw I just remembered how stupid he is, that he didn’t even know how to order from Grab or have Shopee or Lazada wtf 🤣 why is he even alive).

But it’s so true, isn’t it, that if you’re with the wrong person then you’ll spend a lifetime trying to translate your soul. And man am I glad I’m with the right one.

I saw this video online, where an otter was asking a man for help cause his companion got stuck on a boat net. Then the otter swam back and gave the guy a rock to say thank you. I found the video so cute and when I showed it to David, he said it means even more because otters have special rocks that they keep in their fur pouch and that’s what they use to open their food. 🦦 When I found that out, I kept crying the whole day hahaha so he gave me a rock to symbolize all that. And I gladly accepted! (Ofc he’s a gentleman so he also gave me flowers and we did a staycation in Conrad haha)
