Editable Reblogs Update 3.2.0
Many of you have noticed that Editable Reblogs has been having significant difficulties lately as a result of changes to Tumblrâs server-side code. Unfortunately, these changes have rendered ERâs current method of âimitatingâ Tumblrâs reblog structure impossible.
We have updated Editable Reblogs to 3.2.0 to restore functionality to some degree. However, as a result of these changes, ER at the moment can no longer exactly replicate the reblog structure on the dash; posts made using this update will render all posts in the reblog chain as a single blockquoted post instead of a series of them.Â
The XKit team is still actively working to find a way to make Editable Reblogs produce fully formatted posts; however, this interim measure should remove the issue of post content disappearing. The extension can, of course, be disabled at any time through the XKit preferences panel.
Thank you for your patience while we performed this update. As always, if youâre having any problems with New XKit, you can always stop by our support chat room and chat with the developers! There is generally someone there a lot of the time, but you might need to wait for a bit or come back later if no one responds. Other ways you can get in contact with the New Xkit team include sending an ask or submission to @new-xkit-support or by opening an issue on our Github issue tracker.

"Do you want to live? 'Cause I want to live."
Aaron could hear the echo of gunshots moving closer to their location. He gave a quick nod of his head. âWe need to go now.â He firmly insisted as he glanced up the corridor. âDo you know if thereâs an exit that way?â
âYouâve got keys?â Aaron sought to quickly confirm with her before they got out into the open with no options but to run. He started off down the hallway letting her take the lead. In In the span of just a second, Aaron saw the barrel of a weapon begin to appear around the corner. He put his arm out to knock the woman out of the way as he advanced. With a few practiced moves of his hands, he disarmed the attacker sending the weapon skittering down the hallway and a well placed punch sending the man to the ground. âGo, go. We need to move.â
Shane stood frozen against the wall, staring at the increasingly more mysterious man who'd just whipped out a ton of unexpected moves. She didn't know whether or not she should aim her gun at him or not but didn't have too much time to dwell on that - he was right, they needed to move. "I'm guessing having keys wouldn't really make any difference," Shane shot over at him, barreling down the hall as quickly as she could go without losing sight of potential dangers coming their way. "We'll figure it out." Her shoulder hit the door ahead of them as she pushed her way through into the stairwell.
âShe is.â Rick confirmed softly. Every day he noticed that Judith seemed to look more and more like Lori. It pained him that the little girl would never get to see the woman that she resembled so strongly. He didnât immediately offer to allow Shane to see Judith, still unsure about where they stood with one another and largely unsure about where Shaneâs head might be at. Rick tensed his jaw slightly and tipped his head to the side a little as he looked at her. âYeah.â He breathed out. âIâm glad that you didnât.â He had thought heâd killed his best friend. Rick knew it would probably mean very little, not that he intended to tell her, how much it had destroyed him. He had just been doing what he thought he needed to survive, and to keep his family alive. Rick didnât know where to begin having the conversation but they needed to sort something out if they were going to live in the same place and more than that he wanted to. He needed answers. Maybe it was just the idealist brought out in him, the memories of the times theyâd had before the world fell apart. âI think we should. Do you?â
Shane rubbed the back of her head, her gaze flitting down the empty street behind her former partner and then up the next. They stood at a literal crossroads as they considered the future of whatever was left of their friendship. There was no denying that she'd missed Rick dearly, she regretted how they'd ended things for the longest time. It still ate away at her. Maybe talking it over would be good even if there were no real guarantees of it going well; tensions had been at an all time high last they'd talked. "Yea," she pinched the bridge of her nose for a moment before making eye contact with Rick finally, "yea, we should. Come on." Whatever they had to say to each other didn't need to be said in the middle of the street. Shane'd been in Alexandria long enough to know that a lot of the citizens were bored, the mysterious new man was a definite curiosity that would be observed. This was a private conversation, a lot of her neighbors didn't know her past. She led him away from the street towards one of the walls, an area that was tucked away well enough and out of sight. She could've taken him to her house but figured it was best to pick somewhere not confined, just in case. "Alright, hit me," Shane turned to Rick as they arrived, not quite sure if she meant literally or for him to ask his first question. Frankly, either seemed about right.
"Rick. I'm going to make it my personal goal to make sure you get laid tonight," Shane dropped onto the chair and immediately put her feet up on his desk, her expression determined. "Alright, maybe not laid because damn are you stubborn, but I'm gonna get you a lady's number. It's 'singles awareness' day afterall, there's got to be a ton of fish just lookin' to get stupid for fun. It is my duty, as your best friend, to make sure you don't die alone."
Rick looked up at Shane with a completely neutral face. It was all too often that he didnât even want to dignify whatever sheâd said with some sort of response other than that look. He was already shaking his head before she even finished what she had to say. His gaze shifted from her feet on his desk back to her again, a slight quirk of his eyebrows in silent disapproval of the gesture. âThank you Shane. While I appreciate that confidence in my ability to find someone to spend my life with, no I donât think I need your help this evening.â
Shane scoffed, ignoring his disapproving look completely, âRick, whenâs the last time you even had some action? Is it even within this year? Because Iâm willing to bet it hasnât been.â Even thought February 14th wasnât that far into the year, Shane still saw that as a dry spell and all she wanted to do was give her friend a fun memory. âWho said anything about finding someone to spend your life with? I just said I was going to find you someone to get frisky with. That serious mumbo-jumbo is up to you, buddy. Even so, youâre still striking out,â she stared him down, âyou wonât say no. You canât. Your life depends on it.â
â Youâre just as dead as me! â

Perhaps the grand fucking adventures of Connor MacManusbefore the world went to shit has left the Irishman with a bit of acomplex. Being a vast number of odds and faced with near deathhasnât been anything new for him. Things werenât over basicallyuntil his brains were blew from his skull. Besides, he had a brotherto get back toâ
âI highly fuckinâ doubt tâat. Sâ tâere anymore oâ tâat positive optimissim     yeâd like ta fuckinâ share witâ me?â
Shane stared at Connor in disbelief before standing up and pointing out of the third story window, âokay, shit for brains - tell me how a fucking moat of the dead isnât a problem for you? Unless youâve got a grappling hook shoved up your fuckin Irish ass, weâre sitting ducks in here.â Theyâd gotten themselves pinned into an old office building in the middle of a horde. Thankfully, theyâd blocked off the stairs pretty well that they couldnât get up. Except they couldnât get down either.
Okay, so she was just as responsible for the situation as he was but she wasnât about to yell at herself when he was a perfectly good target. âYou want optimism? Feel free to use your positive thinking to float us on out of here.â
âAlright, alright.â Tara gave her a stern look. âCool your jets there, buddy. So you couldnât wait for anyone, I get it.â Now that Tara had her mind wrapped around the fact that the Shane was fine, she relaxed a bit. However, she still crossed her arms. âYeah. Next time.â She knew more than well, that the other woman could take care of herself, but it was always better to go in pairs. There were less accidents that way. Tara was keen on having someone have her back. Made her feel safer. âDid you find anything useful in your little solo adventure?â
Shane wasn't a huge fan of being lectured. More accurately, she wasn't a huge fan of being singled out. It happened way too often near the end of her stay with Rick and them that she wasn't loving the third degree now. "Next time," she grumbled but said clearly, or clearly enough for it to be an obvious agreement. Leaning back against the tree, she grabbed the bag she'd found and tossed it towards Tara, "haven't looked through it yet but it has a weight to it. Must be something. I sure as hell hope so, fought three walkers for it."

âYeah, Judith.â She and Carl had been the only thing to keep him going most of the time. Trying to find somewhere for them to be safe, to grow up the way that he and Lori had always imagined. Maybe that dream was lost the moment that the walkers appeared but maybe Alexandria could be the next best thing. âI have, we have. They need this.â He explained softly. Rick knew that he needed it too. Part of him had started to come unraveled out there and he needed to put the pieces back together, for his kids, for the group. Shane being there made him feel unexpectedly better about Alexandria but he wasnât under the assumption that they were out of the woods entirely. There was still a lot he needed to know about the place. His fingers gripped at the leather on his belt and he tapped them lightly, an uneasy habit. âShane, IâŚ.â Where did he even start? He was still reeling that she was alive, let alone in the place where he was going to live. He didnât want them to not cross paths. No matter how much had happened between them, she was still his best friend and he had missed her dearly. âThereâs a lot I think we should talk about.â
"Judith," she let the name roll around in her head, both finding it unexpected but perfectly fitting for part of the Grimes family, "Judith Grimes. I bet she's beautiful, like her mama was." Shane didn't need Rick to tell her the play by play, the second she'd got wind of the group arriving and recognized a good number of them - it was clear who wasn't with them. She'd mourn her later, knowing better than to do that in front of the very person who she'd tussled with the most about that very woman. About that family. Sure, she'd had a ton of time to think about her actions and how dumb some of them might've been but right then, she felt like maybe she'd only buried those thoughts. Maybe she hadn't atoned enough. "Thought you killed me?" she finished his sentence for him, her hand running through her hair once more, "yea, I guess that's something else that I didn't quite do right." Rocking to the side slightly, she wondered if she should just walk away but something kept her rooted to her spot. Maybe it was whatever remained of their friendship. He deserved answers, but Shane was afraid, "should we?" There was no 'starting over' solution for this situation, no sitcom throwaway.
"Will you be quiet now?"
Send âWill you be quiet now?â For my muses reactions to yours pushing them against a wall and kissing them
Erin was mid-sentence when Shane interrupted her. Out of pure surprise, she didnât resist as the other woman pushed her up against the wall, and resisted even less when she leaned in to kiss her. After the wave of initial shock washed over her, Erin smiled into the kiss and returned it, eagerly. A moment passed before she pulled away just enough to look at Shane, a little breathless but a smile plastered on her face. âWoah, you uh, really know how to shut a girl up.â
Shane was just trying to get Erin to shut up but when the Australian didn't resist, she may have taken advantage of the situation. To her, there was nothing wrong with testing those waters if the flood gates were open. "Yea, I know," Shane shrugged it off as if it was nothing and gestured towards the next room, "I thought I heard something and you were telling another joke." Now that she was certain that there was no one in the next room, it really did look like she'd kissed Erin for different reasons. Eh, who could blame her?
