like the fruit flies in the wall

but the river never changes

Cut the logs from your road

and kick dirt up it

They're all still seeing

the same horse

Sleep is an exorcism of every nail in your spine; waking is not a possession.

You said you’d rather sink than swim and you’re going under.

How does it feel?

Apple cider vinegar, 90 degree rainstorm, your hands pulling the covers back over your eyes.
