Hey everyone! First of all, we’d like to apologize for the lack of updates recently—but rest assured, we’re here with an update. 

(if you don’t want to read this whole post: tl;dr we’re going to start shipping on Monday of next week) 

Basically here’s what happened. We told you guys in this post that the charms were flipped and we had to re-order them. Now initially we were told that this was because the file was backward. However, after talking with our graphic designers and the merch artist, we came to the conclusion this was not the case, and it ended up being a manufacturing error. Nevertheless, we reordered the charms and made sure to send in the correct file just in case it had been an issue on our end. This sparked a months-long back and forth in which our manufacturer gave us multiple reasons why they hadn’t shipped us the fixed charms. Ultimately, they stopped being helpful and cooperative about fixing the file and the charms despite us following their procedure and making changes at their request, and then attempted to get more money out of us for it. We’ve canceled the order with them and requested a refund, because at this point we are all incredibly frustrated. 

So, in the interest of fulfilling orders and getting everyone their copy of the zine and merch that they ordered, we will be moving forward with shipping all copies of the zine and accompanying merch starting Monday, April 19th. 

That being said—due to the COVID-19 crisis, there are some countries that are currently not accepting mail internationally. If this is the case for you, we will reach out to you via email and let you know that your package cannot be sent to you at this time. We will hold on to them though, and the moment international shipping is opened back up, we’ll send yours out. 

For those of you who ordered the PDF version or versions of the zine, we will be emailing those out starting on May 1st, so keep an eye on your inboxes!

It’s not a stupid question at all, don’t worry! We will be putting up the digital version of the zine up for sale during the second round of preorders, yes. So if you missed the first round and still want to get a copy, you’ll be able to. Thanks for your ask, and please let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi there! Pre-orders will open after we’ve shipped out the physical zines and most of them have gotten to their destinations. As of right now, we are still waiting on the last of the charms to come in (you can check out more information about that here). So as of right now, everything depends on when those charms get to us. Hopefully that should be sooner rather than later, but we’ll give a rough estimate of about a month before leftover sales open, just to be on the safe side. But keep an eye here and on our twitter and we’ll keep you updated as production moves along! Thanks for your ask!

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for your patience, as always! We just wanted to send out a few updates to you all:

1. We have almost everything in! The zines, prints, and stickers have all arrived safe and sound at Mod Nadia’s house. The only thing we’re waiting on now is the last of the charms.

2. When we originally approved the order, we didn't realize that the images were flipped the wrong way. We talked with the company, and we've gone ahead and placed the order for the correct ones. Unfortunately, that leaves us with about thirty of this specific charm that are flipped the wrong direction. Thankfully, there is nothing else wrong with them beyond that! We've spoken with the merch artist about it, and they've agreed to let these charms be sold as Grade B charms during our second round of pre-orders (happening after the original orders have been shipped out!) 

3. We know things are a little behind schedule, and we’d like to apologize for that. Due to the epidemic outbreak in the city where our supplier is, they have extended their Lunar New Year holiday until February 18th. We have been in contact with them, and they have made us aware of this delay in production. Allowing for any shipping delays that may occur, it’s likely we won’t receive the correct charms until closer to the end of the month. But rest assured, as soon as everything gets to Mod Nadia’s house, we will update you all once again.
