Until fairy secrets were spilled. Fast forward to current days, the fairy race now consists of fairy offspring, previously called changelings. Driven from their homes by hunters, fairies now live in secret among the humans and receive protection from magycians. But they’re not safe; the human threat poses an even greater danger as the underground gemstone trade continues to grow in mankind’s interests. Meanwhile, fairy-human bonds are formed. Will bonding be able to protect the precious hearts of fairies?

When we were first making this roleplay the admins thought that canons might encourage cliquey-ness or limit our members, so we chose not to include them. What do you guys think?

I would never say no to a vegetarian mermaid!! Although both species have evolved to better suit their environment, humans and mermaids are more alike than different. It’s not defined as canon, but I think of the aquatic ape hypothesis when I consider a mermaid’s development! So aside from some adjustments here and there humans and mermaids would have to share a common ancestor, though would have to experience a founder effect to limit genetic variation. But this wouldn’t completely change what the body can and cannot digest! So the answer is: no! Mermaids definitely can have a long, healthy life without consuming meat!
