my finished Eva cardigan!! have been wearing this one to work so often (especially with my jeans for casual Fridays) and getting compliments :) my mom wants one for herself now too!
details:
Eva Cardigan by PetiteKnit, size XS (on gauge), Sweet Georgia Merino DK in Cauldron
my latest lil Sophie scarf, a barista complimented me on the neatness when I took my dad out for a coffee and it’s the first time anyone has complimented my knitting in public! made from leftovers of an Oslo hat. I know the pattern was so overrated years ago but with the cold of this winter I’ve been wearing one daily tucked into my coat and it’s small enough to shove in my purse which makes it so handy
my Monday sweater! the softest and most comfortable thing I’ve ever made!! I feel that it’s a little long… but should be good for the workplace when I start my new job at the end of the month 🥳
first sweater of the year! Maggie cardigan, knit in sport weight bfl and so cozy!!!! I still need to add buttons but I’ve been getting a lot of wear out of it without

packed up and gifted finally! Musselburgh hats - this year was tough and these became my comfort pattern, I knit 12 total 😬
finished the hat for my mom & made her a tiny ornament sweater since I don’t want to waste any of this hhf yarn!! still have to block it but I think it looks great 🫶
some sweaters I made this year :) finally took my ravelry pictures. moby sweater & cloud blouse both by petiteknit.
I met gauge on the moby but it just feels so dense, it’s the only project I’ve ever done in worsted weight and I learned that maybe that fabric just isn’t for me - I really prefer working on and wearing fingering or dk weight projects.
cloud blouse was so quick to make, used relatively little yarn (~3.2 skeins) and is so comfortable to wear! highly recommend cloud blouse if you’re looking for a mindless knit!!
blocking some Christmas gifts! I adore the highlighter pink colour so much - both hat colours are based on the recipient’s preferred colours/style so very different vibes but I’m so proud of both. my second traveler shawl will be a gift for my mom - I started it when we knew my grandma was going to pass and finished it the morning of the funeral (it’s stash yarn in colours she loved, so I’m looking forward to gifting it to my mom)
my (talented) mom did the stitching on her sewing machine while I ironed and pinned, she’s so happy with how they turned out and is giving them out tomorrow :)
after washing and drying, I cut with a rotary cutter at 25 inches, after hemming they measured 16x23 each. I’m happy with these! my third set of tea towels so far, and I genuinely see improvement each time!

19.5 feet of woven cotton to be (washed, dried, ironed, cut) hemmed and turned into tea towels to gift this Christmas :)
second traveler cowl! stress knitting project to help me start to grieve my grandma
musselburgh no 21! using my hedgehog fibres yarn to celebrate project 100 on my ravelry :)
little miss ‘put her project inside a storage ottoman and forgot it existed then did 2/3 of a sleeve in one evening ðŸ¤
I know the sleeves look like they’re different sizes - I have 12 more stitches on one of the needles just so I wasn’t splitting the cable so rest assured they do match!!
I thought the Briggs & Little wool I bought would felt (it met pattern requirements and is listed as 100% wool - no mention of superwash. the yarn is called ‘super’ but my understanding is that’s referring to the size - super bulky) and it did not despite my best efforts so both pairs of sailor slippers are a supreme failure and a waste of money which hurts more as an unemployed person…
if you’re wanting a super bulky weight 100% wool that miraculously doesn’t felt I’d recommend using Briggs & Little!
thank you so much for including more non-felting (also non-superwash…) wool in the tags!! I’m so upset about it but it’s a little nice to know I’m not the only person who’s been bamboozled. no one’s notes on ravelry led me to believe it wouldn’t felt so I’m including detailed notes in my project for the next person

currently in the felting process… my fingers are crossed. I didn’t use the yarn the pattern used but I picked a 100% wool with the same weight so it should have the same effect
