Here in this world Mæjįck engines and humans have thrived for eons. The Isle of Sodora is a small island found in The World of Seven Realms, just off the coast of Miâninâl. There is a world renowned tale that has been passed down from generation to generation that goes like so:
The Early Realms was a peaceful place, just simple men and women folk that were protected by the First Sentient Engine (Demi God-like figure) until a Unstoppable evil force emerged from the depths of Hell, destroying the peaceful life that the Sixteen Higher Orders had provided for their creations. Out of unyielding self will and bravery, the First Sentient Engine charged headstrong into the ever growing evil, which gained the attention of the Sixteen Higher Order Gods and Goddesses, when the raging battle seemed like all was lost, each of the Sixteen Higher Orders lent their powers to the First Sentient Engine, granting the birth of the first Mæjįck engine.
With this divine power the First Sentient Engine extinguished the world consuming evil and saved the Early Realms from utter destruction. The Sixteen Higher Orders were eternally grateful and helped the first Mæjįck engine to create the Sixteen Patron of Guardians embodying their divine powers, and so the Sixteen Patrons Guardians were created, in honor of the first sentient engine.
It is unknown of what happened to the First Sentient Engine, though it is rumored that the Demi God being had transcended the Sixteen Higher Orders themselves; though that’s just a myth. With the help of the Sixteen Patron Guardians, the Early Realms was reborn into The World of Seven Realms and the first era of humans and Mæjįck engines thrived together, resuming their peaceful lives together.
Though that was, until 1000 years ago when the King of The Seven Realms had a prophetic vision, that one day all Mæjįck engines would revolt and rebel against the Royal Order, so the King ordered a mass execution of all Mæjįck engines. Over the course of several hundred years this onslaught continued, dubbed the Great Purge, not only killing Mæjick engines and humans, but four Patron Guardians fell as well, leaving now only twelve Patron Guardians. Everything suffered greatly under this intense warfare, dwindling populations and resources to mere nothing.
Then, a brave and pure Fÿierflî rose up to the King and made a life altering offer for all, she proposed that if the Mæjįck engines were to reform under the Kings ruling, the Great Purge would cease, and the King reluctantly agreed, thus enslaving the remaining Mæjįck engines.
After centuries of intense warfare, Mæjįck had nearly been forgotten, and if anyone dared to speak or use this powerful essence they were to be executed. To help keep quiet Mæjįck engines began to experiment with their counterparts DNA, creating the first Shiâfiers, the ultimate salvation for harboring Mæjįck engines. Shiâfers have the gift of Mæjįck coursing through their veins while appearing like their human counterparts, unless they channel their Châkiera and are able to take on similar physical characteristics of their Patron Guardian, unleashing their Mæjįck at their wills.
Shiâfiers now walk amongst humans, Mæjįck had now become no more than mere myth, since there seemed to be no use for it any longer now that times have become more modern, though there is still rumors of this incredible gift that remains in The World of Seven Realms.
Shiâfier engines have the unique ability to shift their forms to look like their human counterparts: (incoming old art below!)
Here’s an example of Thomas (note outfit may change)
Thomas is part of the Chē-Kēpērt class, this is just an example of how Shiâfiers work.
Basically, this is like a natural power-up, increased strength, speed, agility, stamina, etc. But, depending on each Patron, Shiâfiers mirror their Patron Guardian(s).
There are twelve different Patrons/classes of Mæjįck Engines that can still be found within the the World of Seven Realms. Ever since the Great Purge and the creation of Shiâfiers, many of these Mæjįck engines are now part of one or more Patrons/classes, though there are still true blooded Mæjįcks that are inhabiting The World of Seven Realms.
- [Årrtikriêgficer] - Engines of this class are most commonly known for crafting powerful weapons with their bare hands, having been touched by Firescorn himself, these engines have passed down techniques even the most mastered blacksmiths and weapon makers envy, Along with these forging skills these engines are masters of martial combat, preferring to test out their weapons first before anyone or anybody else. Engines of this class are known for their forging abilities and their hand-to-hand combat skills, and they make perfect teachers for other classes, if you can find them that is.
- [Confęderâtional] - Engines of this class are known for their sharp eyes during battle, these engine take pride with precision when it comes to long distance combat, they know plenty of spells to help them hone in on their targets, wether it’s shooting enchanted arrows at a tree or at the arse of a fleeing foe! These engines are known by their sharp eyesight and prefer to prey along the back lines in a battle, although they tend to be perfectionists and wasting one arrow is like loosing a close friend, so when an enemy encounters this engine in battle, they better have a shield covering their hind end as well!
- [Dûûx] - Engines of this class are known for having strange Mæjįck abilities and a strong passion for gambling, from being able to cast unwieldy spells to changing their shape to match any animal, but if they don’t utilize this Mæjįck that courses through their veins, it will ultimately rot their bodies from the inside out! Engines of this class don’t really know where their abilities are drawn from, though there has been some myths that these engines have been kissed by their Guardian herself. These engines are known for casting unusual spells, making compulsive gambles just for the hell of it, though these engines wouldn’t have it any other way. And they make for perfect allies; as long as the odds are in their favor, keeping the enemy always guessing their next move!
- [Fÿierflî] - Engines of this class are the major healers of The World of Seven Realms, these healers have the miraculous gift to save even the most severely injured from the doorsteps to the afterlife, being able to cure even the most intense stages of sicknesses and plagues, stumping the most advanced medical professionals even to this day, earning themselves the nickname “Angels from the fingertips of the Gods themselves.” This class is known for incredible healing powers and supporting defensive/offensive engine classes on the battlefield, though they are feared for their sharp tongue, faster than any crack of a whip.
- [Krięgblistkân] - Engines of this class are known for their intense sense of justice and passion for battle, almost the best of both worlds, this warrior is sworn to their oaths to protect the innocent from the darkest of nights to healing the injured when a Fÿierflî is not available, though they can be more easily deceived than other classes, so their oaths may be tainted if they don’t keep their focus. Engines of this class are known for their unyielding sense of justice and determination, and make great defenders on the battlefield, just remember to give them a hug every once in awhile.
- [ÜKk] - Engines of this class take the meaning of battle to another level, unlike their belated Krięgblistkân class, these engines will fight to the death, no matter the stakes or reason. Equipped with unruly strength when they enter their berserk state, it seems that nothing can stop this unstoppable brute! Well, unless you happen to know of a sweet lullaby to put them to sleep instantly, that is. This class is known to be the ones who like to stalk the front lines in battle, because the more that they fight, the more they are beaten, they only become stronger and more resilient, the victims don’t even know that they are fueling a war machine!
- [Chē-Kēpērt] - Engines of this class are commonly known to be more cheeky rather than helpful, though that’s not always the case, some are very determined to do the right thing without a second thought. These engines normally rush into things without stopping to think first, rather letting their weapons do the talking before they do. Despite being the smallest of warrior classes, these types of engines pack a rather hard punch, though their stamina is rather on the poor side, so these engines can tire quickly in long term battle. This class is best known for their charming cheeky behavior before making their move, deceiving the enemy before they even knew what hit them!
- [Coâlârshee] - Engines of this class sometimes lets their arrogance get the better of them, thinking that they are the best of the best of any class! These engines incorporate a various amount of abilities, excelled speed, impressive amounts of strength, have an excelled retainment of resilience, it’s easy to see how these engines get a little bloated with pride. Since this class can do about a little of everything, it is most common to see them on the frontlines of battle, or learning Mæjįck abilities from different classes.
- [Møngrâllam] - Engines of this class take particular pride in studying Mæjick and practicing complex spells, these engines are normally sought out for their large expansion of knowledge and wisdom, though there are a few that would rather like to use weapons to fire their spells rather than study from a silly book. Even though this class may not have the best health or defense abilities, they make for it with their expansive amounts of knowledge and intelligence, making them a perfect ally for any kind of battle, especially mind games!
- [Nœmenklātura] - Engines in this class are better known as “nature engines.” These small, but powerful engines are normally seen near the mountain ranges in beautiful temples and palaces made from the brightest of jewels! These engines seem to understand Grand Earths words and secrets, venerating from such unity it’s almost impossible to understand. These engines are also known for providing solitude for others when they feel lost or disconnected, they even help heal wounded engines before offering lessons of how to understand Grand Earths mystical ways, though if someone happens to anger this peaceful class, they better know that they are also angering Grand Earth herself!
- [Ōptimbliškertž] - Engines of this class enjoy nothing better than pushing themselves to their limits, speeding by faster than a bullet is this classes specialty! These engines are especially nimble and agile, speed is key for these engines, thanks to their lightweight frame they make for an excellent distraction or scouting enemy lines, but they do lack strength to make a solid mark. These engines are known for their incredible speed and stamina, what they lack for in brute strength they make up for it with their friendly and peppy attitude!
- [Oligœswīllk] - Engines in this class are even worse than a pesky Chē-Kēpērt on a hot Sukkuko day! These engines do more harm than good, cunning and surprisingly witty, you definitely don’t want to get on the bad side of these engines. But, there are those few that redeem themselves from the stereotypical Oligœswillk, proving that those with even the most blackest of hearts still have a chance to prove that there is indeed a bit of light in the pit of darkness. These engines are masters of stealth, playing with powerful masks in the darkest of shadows is this engines specialty!
Okay! Hopefully this will help explain a few things and sorry for such a long post!! Please remember that items and information is subject to change, depending on how they fit into the AU.
