i finally have a modern verse! i kinda wanna make it my main verse and have my descendants verse be separate but i donโt wanna change my url so it will remain only a fever dream /: anyways itโs basically just that the queen of hearts is banned from wonderland to the normal world and there she still opens a casino in a huge city and itโs still visited by the most seedy people and murder still happens if you donโt pay your debts or try to cheat the casino, etc etc (kind of like mafia vibes lol). ruby still grew up in this enviroment but she also went to school in the city and not everyone knows of her relation to the casino but those in theย โunderworldโ do know her... see the city as like gotham honestlyย
a tip for writing female characters: donโt be afraid to make her feral. just absolutely batshit. her actual intelligence? that can vary. but bring out the chaotic stupid tendencies. embrace her as a one brain cell enemy of the state

firstly,ย ย i have the brain of a peanut.ย ย i started rpโing on tumblr in 2016,ย ย i think?ย ย my memory is literally awful.ย ย i think people care way more about the aesthetic of a blog then when i started and i also think callout culture has definitely flourished in a way it didnโt back then.ย ย people were way less selective about who they wrote with as well.ย
