Why does this matter?
AI is STEALING our creative process, itβs eliminating the human magic and imagination behind projects. Itβs making people lazyβ¦ so to fight back against the gameβs usage of AI Iβve created a plan. We use THEIR character they made using AI and make him better- we draw him with our own hands, our own godly talent sand skillset we were born with, that we learned, that we have learned to perfect over copious amounts of time and energy. We are astronomically better than anything generative AI can spit out, we are HUMANS, we are the superior life forms upon this planet we call home. We are the ones, the living beings who call the shots, who use their incredible brains to go the distance and change lives.
The goalβ¦
We are going to do a creative project, a collaborative project, we are going to need artists AND writers to bring forth your finest creative skills and show the world that WE are the superstars here, that WE are the powerhouses. We donβt need a bloody machine to make βartβ, we have the emotions, the hands, the brain, and by gods we have the imagination.
What we will do is simple. Artists, you will draw the character in your own style, writers, youβll write something- anything- a short story, anything! Give him a name, give him a whole backstory and have fun!

the problem with nerd characters (cough cough Dan Heng) is that they either like super specific niche topics or they are all flavors of nerd so you never know what they would yap about LOL
the ones on my bucket list of what dan heng would yap about are: history, biology, linguistics, classic literature, humanities
- Qifrey is a man of deliberate, meaningful gestures rather than grand ones. He leaves small enchanted notes for you that glow softly when you unfold them, the ink shifting into little illustrations of things that reminded him of you during the day
- He's surprisingly good at remembering tiny details you mention in passing. And months later he'll present you with something perfectly tailored to an offhand comment you'd forgotten you even made
- He lights candles with a single ink stroke before dinner, always. He thinks ambiance matters.
Day-to-Day Together
- Morning person who wakes before everyone and has already brewed tea by the time you stir: he's quiet company in the early hours, reading or sketching, content just to be in the same room as you
- Will absolutely use magic for mundane couple things, like keeping your hands warm on cold days or making the stars above the Atelier a little brighter when you sit outside together
- His love language is acts of service: always fixing something for you, anticipating what you need before you ask
The Complicated Parts
- He carries a lot of secrets and guilt, and he tends to protect people by withholding β so early in the relationship you'd have to make clear that you want honesty, even the hard kind. Once he trusts that you mean it, he slowly opens up in a way he almost never does with anyone
- He can go distant and preoccupied when something weighs on him β not cold, just somewhere else in his head. He needs a partner who can sit with him in the silence without taking it personally
- If you're ever in danger because of him, he will not sleep. He will not rest. He will fix it, whatever it takesβ¦. which is touching but also means you sometimes have to physically make him eat and lie down
The Soft Moments
- Genuinely delighted by your interests, even if they have nothing to do with magic, he asks real questions and actually listens
- Falls asleep reading beside you more often than he'd admit, and wakes up flustered about it
- Braids your hair if you let himβ¦. careful, patient hands, total focus, like everything he does

Imagine 85 year old Zandik with his beloved deranged house spouse. Within your comfortable home away in the countryside of Snezhnaya, you happily play the part of a loving spouse who takes care of their old husband.
Always so kind and devoted.. ignoring the definitely-not-threatening letters you wrote to one of his colleagues behind his back and your unwavering possessiveness over him. To the outside world? No one would comment. With how your eyes seem to look almost dead while you wait in the cozy living room, staring aimlessly at the cold clock ticking on the wall.
The adult segments hold some affection for you, but it's so painfully obvious that you are poisoning their human counterpart. But does Zandik heed their warnings? Unfortunately, no. He loves you too much to ever resist you. He already knows what you always put in his breakfast before He leaves for work, how stressed he mysteriously becomes while running tests in his cold lonely laboratory, and how all of his troubles wither away as He comes back home to you.
The Elixir of Immortality has frozen you in time, making you appear forever as a young adult while He aged like any other human, yet you still continue to cherish and shower him with affection. You could've gone chasing after his younger segments, probably the cool and clinical 25 year old segment (only from 18 did you hear that 25 was popular with the female staff⦠yikes) or the Zandik in his prime , the 35 year old segment "Omega." Even so, you still willingly chose the original over the segments.
Speaking of segments, 65 was the only segment who you interacted much with. He's closer in age to the original, He handles your possessiveness with ease and He's practically the stand-in for when Zandik is too busy to visit his darling spouse. Omega is second place mostly because He finds you interesting but He was too.. social and charismatic for your liking, and Zandik was afraid that your interactions would end up in a messy quarrel. "Why is he contacting the Regrator so much? And why is he so interested in his little experiments?" He could almost hear your sweet voice in his ears, nagging to him about Omega.
His frail health is declining thanks to the definitely-not-poisonous powder you laced his tea with, even to the point that He's bedridden for almost a week. Yet almost always, he comes back from the Palace as healthy and unaffected as ever. Zandik only laughs at your pushy questions and that panicked look in your eyes, only looking at you with adoration as you try to figure what's going on. The segments don't seem to care much, and his colleagues prefer not to look in your direction.

In 2022 I went to a doctor who dismissed my concerns about a freckle turned mole on my abdomen, he dismissed me and said it was nothing- I knew something was wrong so I went back in early 2023 and the doctor then made an emergency referral to a local dermatologist, she knew something was wrong the moment she saw it. The mole wasnβt βjust a moleβ, it was skin cancer. The mole was an irregular shape with spotting around it, key sign of melanoma.
In mid April I was given a biopsy and immediately contacted within 12 days of the biopsy that I had fast developing skin cancer, I was diagnosed with pre stage one - stage one cancer. At the time I was still in school but they needed me into surgery fast, I was dangerously close to the βpoint of no returnβ.
With permission from my universityβs professors I completed classes early and went into surgery to remove the mole. Letβs just say they were surprised with how deep it wentβ¦ no bueno. Fast forward to a few weeks later they called me and said I have been officially cleared, I was free. However, Iβd need regular skin checks to make sure it stayed away.

Yandere!Dottore who was able to slip a part of his soul into your body ahead of time, before he had split his remaining soul into two main 'segments'. He knew you were departing from Teyvat but alas, his time was short and He knew He physically couldn't be by your side.
Actually, how did He manage to slip a part of his soul into you? You didn't know. You suspected that something felt off a long while ago but you were foolish enough to brush it aside, to think of it as nothing. And now suddenly, those parting words made all the more sense.
No no.. it couldn't have been when you, the Traveler and Hat Guy were sent inside Irminsul for the final battle because there were zero records of you that He could manipulate, nor could it be when you fought his other segment back in Nod-Krai where he held the power of the the Three Moons. Or could it have been before all of this, when you were still under his 'loving' grasp?
Only a few weeks after that great battle against his last segment, did you finally start feeling so.. worn down, so haunted and so paranoid. This unwanted final parting gift, one that sticks to your mind like a digital virus, a "parasite" who would pick and prod at your mind out of twisted love.
The remaining part of Dottore inside your body seems less like He wants to take over your mind and more like He's made himself home inside your mind. He was well aware that you could hear his voice in your inner thoughts, and He started even appearing in your peripheral vision like a golden spirit to test how much more you could take. Who knows what else He could do? Flip through your memories now that He's inside your head?
You remember the first time that Dottore, grown a bit jealous after your recent interactions with the Traveler, tried to wrestle control over your mind. The way you halted in your steps with widened eyes, replaying the moment you groaned in stress and how his voice overlapped with yours.
He enjoyed every second living in your mind, but poor old you on the other hand? You were not in the mood to entertain your crazy former lover's mini "experiments", nor are you looking to reminisce a few long-forgotten memories.
And you would have to endure his torment even as you depart from Teyvat.
