rory: sometimes i consider changing my order but i live in constant fear of annoying the baristas :/
rory: peppermint mocha latte?? that sounds magical
rory: they still have it! cute barista guy says they're serving holiday flavors until next week but i think we should petition for them to be served all year tbh
isa: i don't think they'd be annoyed, any time i change mine up they're shocked.
isa: it's literally my favorite and it's only around for a limited time which is utter bullshit if you ask me.
isa: tell cute barista guy i said thank you... snap a sly picture if you can ;-) i'm totally down for that petition tbh, i think other people would be too.
frcddiebowe:
freddie was beginning to regret his choice of making an appearance at the pool party. he had never been keen on parties; and on top of that, he found the whole concept of gathering residents to have them socialize to be completely pointless. sure, he could be found charming through the eyes of certain people, but at this point, with the crowd who attended the party, there really wasnât anyone he found a certain beneficial interest in. his eyes wandered around the open room for a brief moment â almost as though he had decided to give yet another chance for the party redeem himself from scanning the faces of whom he could possibly either strike a worthy conversation with, or hold chances on him winning a jackpot. but his eyes came to a full halt when it landed onto a figure that seemed all too familiar to him. it was as though his entire being had been poisoned, leaving him paralyzed as he watched the girl from where he stood. it didnât take long for him to slowly subconsciously make his way towards her; his eyes begging for a better look, for her to stay in his focus, just so he could take a longer look at her â to know that this wasnât some sick dream. it wasnât until he snapped out of his trance; the familiar voice assuring him that it was all real.
âsorry,â he muttered softly and rather quickly for someone who doesnât apologize much, âi didnât mean to stare.â he cleared his throat, ducking his head down and breaking eye contact as he gave out a sheepish chuckle â fucking fool. he was unsure of how he should feel. a rush of old memories beginning to rewind itself in his head whilst the emotions within him swirled. âitâs just around the corner on your left,â he enlightened, forcing himself  to give isabella his best smile; but the results only had the edges of his lips twitching.
isabella was known to the media for being a party child, loving the atmosphere that came with going to parties, letting loose and having fun. it was her scene, where she felt the most comfortable. but today? today she was tired, not feeling like getting up from her chair to socialize. if people wanted to talk to her, she figured theyâd come to her. even if no one did, she wasnât sure sheâd find herself complaining about. it was an off day for her, meaning that if everyone left her alone, sheâd be more than fine with that. however, that didnât mean that she didnât like social interaction. she thrived off of it, especially when it didn't have to do with anything revolving around her job, the movies she was in or the press conferences that went with that. even then though, she knew for a fact sheâd seen some paparazzi outside, now, if they were there for her or not, she didnât know. but she also knew how to avoid them as best as she could. which is why she was stuck to her chair like glue, however, sheâd caught someone out of the corner of her eye and it almost made her choke. what she could see of the figure was something that felt all too familiar to her and she knew exactly what that meant. sheâd glanced up from her phone ever-so-slightly to peek up at him without being obvious. what was he doing there? did he live here too? or did someone bring him as their plus one? the second she saw him she had this major flashback, to the happiness and pain they both went through and it almost made her want to run.
however, before she could he was standing right in front of her, apologizing for no damn reason. âfredd- i...â she started, taking a deep breath. âdonât.. donât apologize. i should be the one to say iâm sorry.â she explained, tucking her hair behind her ear as she pulled herself off the chair she was lounging in. âthank you. i- youâre more than welcome to come along if youâd like. iâll get you a drink too and we can talk. iâm not gonna force you, obviously. i donât expect you to want to even be around me if iâm gonna be honest with you.â
graysisms:
gray let out another laugh, pretending to tip an imaginary cowboy hat in the girlâs direction. âwell, where i come from, itâs just manners,â he replied. he squinted his eyes to try and filter out the sunlight, looking out in the barâs direction. the pool was ridiculously crowded, but thatâs the nature of a party, right? âi have a tendency to apologize to chairs when i bump into âem, so yâknow. but i am never one to turn down the company of a pretty lilâ lady, especially in pursuit for some drinks.â he offered his hand graciously with a wider smile on his face.
the otherâs attitude caused a genuine smile to pull on isabellaâs lips, her brow raising at him slightly. âwell then, iâm glad youâve been taught some manners then, sir.â she told him, the grin on her lips growing bigger as she pulled herself off of the chair sheâd been sitting in. âiâd like to tell you iâm the same, and i am when it comes to those situations.. but iâm not sometimes. you think iâm pretty?â she asked, finding that a slight blush had crept up onto her cheeks as she took his hand. âa man after my own heart when it comes to getting drinks. iâm isabella, by the way, but you can call me isa.â

what is something in your life that you are most proud of?
âthatâd have to be my work, i love being able to put myself in things that iâm genuinely happy about and that make other people happy too. hearing stories from people who have told me some of the characters iâve portrayed in movies helped them through tough times is beyond amazing and i have no words for any of that. iâm definitely most proud of that.â
weighed down by now thoroughly dripping scrubs, grayson clambered out of the bustling pool, bristling and cold. â fuckâshit, okay, it canât be that hard to stop and see whether someoneâs wearing work clothes before dumping them into the pool, can it? â
isa had not been apart of pushing grayson into the pool, she wasnât that cruel. however, she was among the group of people that couldnât help but to laugh. slowly she pushed her way past the crowd, stopping directly in front of him. âpretty sure thatâs not how you swim, gray.â she teased, eyeing his soaked clothes. âhowever, pretty sure people arenât going to complain about the view.â
â you know what ? i donât think i can do this. i havenât been to the gym in almost a year. iâll probably just keep my shirt on,â carter cleared his throat as he re-adjusted his t-shirt over his shoulders. â iâm going to get another drink, you want one ? â
âeven if you havenât been to the gym in over a year, youâre at a pool party! plus from what i can see, you didnât need the gym to look good.â isa replied with a small shrug. âhowever, do whatever makes you comfortable.â she continued before a grin pulled on her features. âiâd like more than one so sure, iâll come with.â
drink in one hand, poltergeistâs leash in the other, adora scanned the group of party goers, gaze searching for friendly faces. her swimsuit was new, bought solely for the partyâ itâd be a waste not to dip in the pool. abandoning her search, she nudged the nearest person. â wanna go for a dip with me ân poltergeist? â
isa had been focused on the group of guys thatâd taken to throwing each other into the pool when she felt a nudge to her shoulder, quickly turning around to face the other with a small smile, her brow raising at the otherâs suit. âwow, you look amazing.. that suit!?â she said before the otherâs question finally set in. âi mean, iâve been told my suit can actually be swam in, so why not!â
âOh no, actually i think is cute to have a party with the entire village hereâ she said with that little but mostly polite smile âI just donât want to go to the actual pool, iâm better here with the drinks and the viewâ and again, mostly because NĂśelle wasnât such a good swimmer, actually, she was terrified of water, just that.Â
âi think itâs a bit too much, if iâm going to be honest with you. a lot of people normally creates some sort of drama between smaller groups, but hey, everyone here at least seems to know how to be civil towards each other even if they donât like one another.â isa replied with a chuckle. âitâs alright, iâm terrified that my suit will get messed up in the water anyways so iâm gonna sit here and enjoy the view with you.â

â⌠which is exactly what iâd told her not to do, but of course, you know where i find her? in the bathroom, on her - are you listening?â
isabella had a bad tendency to space out a little bit, meaning sheâd heard mavâs words, but probably looked as if she hadnât. âi am! i just- i space out sometimes. let me guess? she was sick to her stomach? sounds like me, if iâm being honest with you.â

em: I've decided that reddit 50/50 is so horrible it needs to be brain bleached with puppies and love and cute animal.
em: ya get me? bc I'm about to cry.
isa: i wasn't even aware that this was a thing until you texted me, you should have told me not to google it!!
isa: i'm down for a netflix binge to rid our minds of that shit if you'd like!
grishvm:
kadie scoffed, a sardonic smile on her lips as she listened to the girlâs excuse, âwell i suggest you brush up on your comedic skills cause that wasnât very funny.â at the girlâs offer, kadie raised a brow before narrowing her eyes in slight suspicion. âalright..â she said carefully while giving a slow nod, âthat sounds good to me.â
âthis is why iâm an actress and not a comedian. think iâll just stick to my day job and keep trying to be funny to other people.â isabella replied with a small laugh, shaking her head slightly. âi didnât mean to upset you, iâm sorry.â she continued, a sincere smile pulling on her lips. âi always say that everything can be fixed with alcohol.â she joked, raising her brow. âwhat kinda alcohol do you like?â
lenxsher:
â Your suit looks perfect, even if something bad happens, nudity is natural â Lena hoped that her words didnât sound weird at all. â Your job? Are you an actress? â Lena rocked back and forth on her heels, finding the conversation amusing, maybe she just needed to talk to someone new to feel a little better. â Agree, a day off is amazing, and donât tell me, being wasted is my only way to have fun these days, sad but true â
âi fully agree with you there, but try to tell that to my publicist and agent who would have heart attacks if something like that did happen.â isa replied with a laugh, nodding her head. âpart time actress, full time âwild childâ apparently.â she said, rolling her eyes at the title sheâd been given from a few magazines. ânot sad, not in the least. alcohol makes things better, donât care if some people donât believe that.. i do. makes everything more fun. meaning i think itâs time to make things even more fun for the two of us.â
dvvina:
almost immediately upon arriving at the pool house and spotting what was easily more than half of the complexâs population, davina regretted her choice in attending the party. once her eyes quickly caught on to the table overflowing of alcohol of various nameless and cheap brands though, her stay continued to extend as the minutes passed. still, just because she planned on staying a little longer didnât mean she planned on socializing. she found more than enough content in simply retreating in her own little corner of the party, watching her intoxicated neighbours as they buzzed around in excitement. her personal choice of isolation was disrupted when a girl only a one or two feet away spoke in her direction, irritation coating her words â a concept davina was already extremely familiar with. âa picture of some petite, pale white girl showing off her non-existent tan and bathing suit she spent way too much on.â davina began, turning to face them. âsounds a little overdone, donât you think ? i personally donât think itâd sell for much.â concluding her observations, she merely shrugged a shoulder. âthe drinks are over there,â she nodded at the direction of the designated drinks table before looking back at isabella. âyou sure you wanna risk going over there, though ? who knows â someone just might breathe in your direction.â
isabella was used to being around large groups of people, she had to be. her job required her to be that way. however, it was one of her days off, meaning that she wasnât being forced to be around said large group of people, instead, she was there by choice, something that almost shocked even her. anytime she normally had days off, sheâd stick to her home and curl up with her pets. but hey, what a better way to get to know the people you were living around than a pool party packed with intoxicated people? it wasnât the most ideal situation, considering she wasnât as intoxicated as most and that seemed to be holding her back from the âsocialâ reason she was supposed to be there with. âlooks like youâre the life of the party wherever you go, huh?â isa replied, her tone calm as possible as she looked up at davina. she wasnât mad, wasnât offended and wasnât upset either, so she simply gave the other a shrug. âyouâd be surprised, there are people who are crazy enough to buy numerous photos of me due to my job. however, i was simply joking, didnât mean to get that reaction out of you. but, i will also say that i didnât pay for this suit. it was a gift, one i didnât feel like leaving to sit in my closet and not get worn.â she explained, raising her brow as she put her sunglasses back on her face. âif iâm really that stuck up, i wouldnât be here right now. not with the amount of overly drunk people who happen to get touchy while theyâre intoxicated. that is not something thatâs gong to bother me, nor do your attempts to make me feel bad.â she said, shaking her head. âhowever, that aside, iâll get you a drink too, if youâd like.â

rory: so i officially go to starbucks so much that the barista knows my name & order
rory: i don't know if i should feel proud or embarrassed
rory: but anyway, while i'm here do you want me to grab you anything?
isa: good lord im glad i'm not the only one that they know... however, i do tend to change my order up some and i think they hate me for that.
isa: proud, most certainly.
isa: yes please! do they still have the peppermint mocha cappuccino? if so, that! thank you!
what's the last song you listened to?
âthat would be âblow your mindâ by dua lipa, honestly, that has to be one of my favorite songs and iâm so sorry if you hear it blasting from my house! text me if that happens, iâll make sure to turn it down.â
