as the young brunette spoke, corrine tried her hardest to stifle a laugh. ah, college girl MELODRAMA… that really took her back. although, she’d never had such an experience of her own, there were bigger problems in her life than sulking over something so benign. “seriously?” the blonde questioned, disbelief mixed with amusement evident in her voice. “does it make me a bitch to say she needs to get a fucking grip?” chuckling, she shrugged. “perhaps you could gently point out that the distance doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t want to be her friend, people choose colleges based on their INTERESTS and needs. or at least that’s what i did.” idly tapping her her fingers against the table, she closed her laptop, unbothered to continue to work on the script that’s be sitting barely touched in front of her all morning. “surely they didn’t actually ghost her but if they did, obviously she’s the problem.” a soft laugh. “honestly, i don’t know how you do it. you must have the patience of a saint.”

she tried to keep from laughing but the more corrine went on, the more impossible it became, there was something that isa couldn't help but admire about the point-blank manner of her words. " her mind is working fast now and she's scribbling little tidbits of advice under her original thought a grin tugging at the corners of her lips at the word saint. " i wouldn't say that. " in truth half the reason she started the advice column was because she was a chismosa. " mostly i like that i get paid to be nosy and tell strangers how to fix problems that are almost always their fault some how. "

eyebrows raise up to their limits and she gives the other a pointed look as if to say " you're asking me ? " when it comes to doling out advice, hers tends to be on the unsolicited side of the equation. it's a shame, she thinks, that most people have yet to learn to appreciate her words of wisdom. ❝ c'est la vie ? ❞ she offers, then takes a brief moment to actually ponder the situation. ❝ losing friends right out of high school is a rite of passage. everyone knows that's an ideal moment to delete superfluous idiots from your life. grieve the loss, learn from the experience and move on. ❞

" perhaps kennedy wasn't the person she should be asking, but regardless of if she agreed, isa loved to hear the opinions of others. " but i do think this is solid advice. i'll tell her to focus on school and your hobbies and build new connections, it might dull the pain of losing old ones. "
