arrogantly classy

             tae-hyun had been in shock, learning that he and his mother were leaving korea. but what was currently happening, at this very second; it was the icing on the cake. he’d opened his front door, only to be greeted by his ‘brother’ standing on the opposite end. fully ready to just shut the door, and pretend this wasn’t happening; tae-hyun was yet again thrown a curveball. watching as his mother ushered the other in, going for a handshake, in favor of pulling him in for a hug; and openly squirting a fair amount of sanitizer into her palm, to rub in. fully intending to further ignore the man’s presence, he was rather appalled; when he was basically forced to hang out with the other. even having to take isaiah, up to his very pristine room. 

once in his room, the younger of the two turned to fully assess his supposed family. “you look dirty.....i didn’t know trolls were allowed into the seo family. you’re literally way too ugly, to be even remotely related to me; feel free to go bak and hang out with your ugly little friends too. believe me when i say, i don’t like you; and don’t plan on liking you.” the boy snarked, arms crossed over his chest; as he looked in disgust at his ‘family’.

“The mouth on you,” Dorian growls, removing his hand from the kid’s elbow, only so he can grab his chin and force that face to look up. Way up, since the kid is basically miniature. “Shame for the pretty face. Then again, I always loved fucking some manners in your ungrateful generation. Gonna love watching you chemically shower after that.”

           tae-hyun didn’t even have time to be relieved, about being let go of; before he felt a hand on his face. due to the height difference, the boy’s head was tilted nearly fully back; it hurt to say the least, and he sent a deadly glare up at the man. “don’t talk down to me. you have less than thirty seconds, to get your filthy hand, off of my face.” he bit out icily, nose wrinkled in distaste at the last little bit of the man’s comments. “find some lowly prostitute to fuck manners into, i’m far too high class for you to even breathe the same air; as me. now. let. go.”

So he was a tad bit spaced out while he counted the crumpled dollar bills he shoved into his wallet that morning. Despite how happy he was that his brother lived with him now, Leo’s fat ass still wouldn’t get off the couch no matter how much he asked, threatened, scolded and smacked him. 

With money running low and his irritation dwindling on a 10/10, Lux’s attitude was a bit more nasty than it normally was. The haughty cry from in front of him snapped his attention back up– Then down, once he noticed just how much shorter the other was.   “Can you say that to me again an’ make eye contact with me? I know you’re the same height as my fuckin’ dick, but the beauty’s up here,” he tapped his own cheek, “Might want to change that attitude, too, before I shove a boot up ya ass.”

           “i said, you’re stupid. clean the wax out of your ears, and maybe you’ll hear better.” he snapped, only half listening to whatever else the other male was saying. though the jab at his height caught his attention, rather quickly. stepping closer (not too close) to the tall (too tall) guy, he repeated his earlier insult. “you’re stupid, for blocking the path. and while i’m at it, you’re speech makes you sound illiterate; which i’m sure you are. and to top it all off, you resemble a hobo. why don’t you go hold a sign up, begging for money else where.” he finished with a smirk, waiting to see what sort of reaction he’d get.

Organic was the way to go. GMO-free was more than likely a bullshit ‘health’ campaign propagated by the people who owned Trader Joe’s, but Kent Brockman had so much money he couldn’t be arsed to care. Organic had a nice ring to it, particularly when it was organic and local. He was a sucker for the farm-to-table rhetoric, but he’d be the last person to admit that aloud. J.R. Bryne would have a field day if he knew the extent of his beliefs. Kent Brockman: health nut and pretentious free-range enthusiast.  

He took long, urgent strides toward the butternut squash, eyes scanning the produce dutifully. He stopped, mid-stride, when something caught his attention: strawberries? Weren’t they considered out of season?

And like a feather had grazed his back, he experienced a tickle. A belligerent, entitled, 5’3” sized tickle.

Kent scoffed, turning his body to face the tiny terror.

“Oh! I’m sorry, little guy.” He apologized, voice syrupy sweet. “Women and children first. My mistake.”

          “that it is, simpleton. don’t let it happen again, and we will not have any further issues.” he countered with a smug smirk, taking up his features; and brushing of the child comment, off with ease. “you make insulting you so easy, so really; i have to thank you. for managing to maintain my attention for longer than thirty seconds.” tae-hyun snarked more, wanting to get under the man’s skin. 

Oh, no. Dorian is not going to have two insufferable kids talk to him like that in one day. His tolerance level is down to zero.

It’s the shove that pushes his patience overboard and causes Dorian to grab the kid’s elbow and shove him against the near wall. “Try to rephrase that, before I whoop your hobbit ass.”

          if there was one thing, that tae-hyun hated more than acknowledging those below him; was being touched by one. as soon as he felt the grip to his elbow, the boy let out a disgusted noise; and gasped in shock (mostly more disgust) as he was shoved against a wall. “are you insane, keep your grubby paws off of me; my attire costs more than what you probably make in a month. how dare you, lay your filthy hands on me.” he harked, refusing to to try and snatch his arm away; in fear of wrinkling his clothes, but swatting with his free hand at the man’s hand. “let go, ogre. before i’m in need of a chemical showering.”

“Oh my God, what!?” Yazzie not only gets yelled at for sitting at the exact same spot he’s been sitting at over the last half hour, handing out coffee shop flyers, but to top it all — he gets shoved. What is up with the universe lately? “Maybe the important people can catch a cab next time if they’re oh so important. And it’s not gonna rain today, Mortisha Dumbass.”

          “are you deaf, dumb or blind? maybe its a combination, of all three? i said, you’re a moron; for blocking the path, you bore. “ tae-hyun practically hissed, giving an unimpressed stare at the other male. “umbrellas are not only meant to block rain, neanderthal; it is protecting me, from the uv rays. unlike you....common people, i value in taking care of myself. anyhow, this is my cue to leave; i don’t care to waste anymore of my precious time, on the likes of you.

The sun was bright and the day was beautiful and the new farmland had just been freshly plowed, so he figured that he would go out on a little walk with Pumpkin. The dog, of course, in her infinite, puppy wisdom, had sprinted ahead of him, and he had gone chasing her down the lane after her. She stopped just short of a man coming down the lane in the opposite direction, but Ira had had too much momentum to stop, and had collided directly into the other man. “Sorry, so sorry, Pumpkin–” he began to say, reaching down and picking up his dog (she was very pleased with herself), and was about to step out of the way when he heard the other’s disdainful words. “…Excuse me?”

           Nose wrinkled and eyes scrunched, tae-hyun took a small step backwards; in an attempt to keep the dog, away from his shoes. “as you should. now get out of my way, before i step over you. i didn’t stutter, peasant. stopping in the middle of the path, is beyond stupid. in an realm of it’s own, in fact. don’t let it happen again, and you won’t have to worry about being spoken to. trust and believe, that i have more expensive things, to worry about.” the boy harked, tone as icy, as the glare he sent the man.

           tae-hyun walked cautiously, along the little trail; umbrella open and hovering over his head. acting as a shield towards the sun that was currently shining far too brightly. the young male simply wanted more tea leaves, and had heard constant yapping; of how the little organic farm was ‘so amazingly, wonderful’. too focused on looking where is shoes (over one hundred dollars, mind you) were stepping; the boy failed to notice the figure in front of him. until colliding with them. “you want to watch where you’re stopping? this isn’t exactly a wide walking path, and you taking up the entire lane; is literally one of the stupidest things, you could do. why not move off to the side at least, and let the important people through.” he chided with disdain written all over his features, moving to attempt and shove past the other person.
