Growing up is realizing that while, yes, NCIS is a crime procedural drama, in a deeper sense it’s truly just a show about the different ways daddy-issues manifest in the adult psyche lollll
Allow me to elaborate:
The neurodivergent sweetheart with a tendency to people please. “Walking contradiction” just means she doesn’t want people to be able to pinpoint her without actually knowing her first (it’s a form of self-protection).
The over-achieving perfectionist, politically conflicted purist that’s always this 🤌 close to burn-out, but truly WANTS to do the right thing.
The one that grew up way too early. Probably has little to no recollection of their childhood but understands that may be better than the alternative. Bad ass. Gay or bisexual, too. Oldest sibling.
Copes with comedy, has a hard time trusting significant others, wants so badly for his dad to be better than he is/was. Reckless abandon mindset. Eventually gets therapy as an adult.
Middle or youngest child, raised mostly by older sibling(s), practically lived at the school doing clubs, hanging out with his favorite teachers. Way better in relationships than people think. Isn’t sure if having kids would be morally responsible, but also really wants at least one.
