Irene groaned as she headed out of her room, having a really bad aching day. She was really looking forward to having this baby so it would stop making her bad nerves hurt even more. She rubbed her lower back as she got to the stairs, slowly making her decent to the kitchen. She was really hungry. Irene stumbled a little on the stairs, reaching out to hold onto the railing. Man her legs were getting worse. Irene took another step, slipping on it. "Ah!"
Romeo was just getting off work. He had been taking shorter days since Irene was super close to her due date and he wanted to be there for her more. The blonde made his trek home, unlocking and opening the door. As he pushed open the door, he heard a crash by the stairwell. âI-Irene!?â

"B-but youâŚhave to workâŚs-since I donâtâŚ" She wiped at her eyes, though wincing at the pain of moving.
"I knowâŚbut still.. ," Romeo sighed. "Iâll go get some of your medicine," Romeo pattd her head and got up to go get her some medicine and tea.
She nodded, sniffling again. Irene tried to move but it caused too much pain. âAhâŚâ She silently cursed to herself.
Romeo came back with her medicine and the cup of tea. âHere, this should help dull the pain,â Romeo helped her sit up before giving her both things.Â
Irene took the medicine when she offered, her hands shaking. "What if...it's more serious...it...a-ah!" She nearly dropped her tea when she felt a jolt of pain go through her body.
