you referred to it as pathetic meter in the comments over at ao3😭 God i love reading comments, esp on the enemies fic because whenever I read eren's pov i always go like (insert that blue blob of cum gif) "can you believe this guy.. what the fuck" and people in the comments think the same LMFAO its so entertaining😭 eren is sooooo entertaining. in canon i think hes also very funny too, obv not in a comedic way. just his thought processes makes me laugh. I think you interpolated(?) that in this fic so well😭 There are thoughts in his head thats never been thunk before.. and gosh i love how if the enemies eren exist in real life, i would avoid him with a 20-foot-pole but look at that face.. hes too cute. #cognitivedissonance. I’m so sorryyyy! Nope you used it perfectly well, I just forgot. 😂 well my goal is to not exceed 10 K per chapter or at least to be around that benchmark but there’s no way I can break this one up again because the last chapter was actually supposed to be a part of this chapter and I have no plans to.

Ah okay okay, yeah I don’t think I would’ve thought to look there. The comments are fun! I do really love seeing everyone’s reactions and reading people’s thoughts, especially the speculative ones. They’re all very entertaining, indeed! Yeah, when they’re like, can you believe this guy, it’s funny because I wanted it to be entertaining but at the same time when they’re like, I thought he was normal it makes be like damn he’s really coming out not normal, shit. And then I have to reassure them that I promise it’s going to get better and that he will be “normal” again 😂😂😂.

Eren’s thoughts are interesting because he simultaneously has a one tracked mine but his thoughts are like a flurry that focuses on that one thing. At least that’s what I think. It’s chaotic, but the chaos is centered around a singular focus point so I’m glad that it’s be fun and enjoyable for you!

Yeah, that’s unfortunate. Because I did want him to be normal, but it just didn’t happen that way so I too would not touch him with a 20 foot pole. If anything my pole would be much longer than that. But that’s Mikasa’s man. And she’s one of those types that goes “I can fix him” so she could have him lol apparently you just might not mind him either. Haaaa, he will suffer, just not in the begging. As a matter of fact next they do it, he won’t even finish and me saying that is very misleading because I promise it’s not what you think it is but yeah! (No, but he really is)

I hops you were able to make up your missed sleep. As someone who has been doing a lot of late night reading and totally was late for work once after doing so for like two or three days in a row, I get it 🤭. I am indeed working on it, just chipping away little by little. I feel this chapter will need some heavy editing but we’re currently at the top page 22 with 9.2k (and counting 😅🫠). I feel like this one will be around 14k.

Oh wait, I didn’t miss this, I resolved to see where I called Eren’s attraction a “pathetic meter” because I couldn’t remember and forgot 😂😭. Ah sorry 😅. Anyway, he gonna break the meter. Like rn I think he’s giving real incel vibes and Porco, who he doesn’t even like, is leading him further down the path (although that is not Porkie’s intention). Idk if his most pathetic will be this chapter or the next given the situation, but I do know that once he hits rock bottom (also next chapter), he will become a normal human being again.
