My Comments: I rewrote the above summary, so it’s different from the author’s. Anyway this is one of my favorite fics. I always have loved magic reveal fics, and this one has the added bonus of tying in Emrys as well. While the magic reveal doesn’t happen in the first fic, trust me it’s worth the wait and suspense. I also love the author's OCs in this fic as well. I highly recommend this one.

My Comments: This is one of my favorite Merlin Canon series. It's written by one of the kinkmeme-merlin mods herself. This started as a one shot that turned into a rewrite of season 4. I have to say I really enjoyed how she pulled Emrys into this quite a lot. It's definitely worth a read.

After a close call or two, Merlin has to have a chat with them about not revealing Merlin's identity. While no one ever does reveal Merlin is Emrys, a lot of people start to talk about Emrys in Camelot. 

My Comments: This was written as a kinkmeme_merlin prompt fill, written all the way back in 2012. But god do I just love this fic. It’s been a favorite of mine for a decade, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.

Summary: King Arthur sets out to keep his promise to the spirit of the Druid boy by repealing his father's ban on magic. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done, for reasons including but not limited to the following: (1) He can't change the law until he understands magic better, but no sorcerer is willing to explain magic to him until he changes the law; (2) The sorcerers all have some strange obsession with Merlin, which is awakening all sorts of feelings in Arthur that he really doesn't fancy examining too closely; (3) He is starting to feel like the butt of some Druid-population-wide inside joke involving the mysterious phenomenon called Emrys; and (4) Oh yeah, Morgana is still trying to kill him. Thus he embarks on a journey of discovery, diplomacy, accountability, and self-improvement, and maybe even falls in love along the way.

My Comments: I absolutely love this fic. I love how Arthur slowly learns more and more about magic, and how the author shows different magic users’ perspectives. Not to mention all the magic users seeking Merlin out. Definitely give this one a read.
