Clark and Bruce are on their way leaving town for Smallville, and Clark can feel the race of Bruceās heart rate increasing at every mile they get closer - could they have flown there? Yes. Would Bruce probably have thrown up? Also Yes. By the time they get there Clark can practically FEEL Bruceās heart as his own, and Bruce? heās hyperventilating, no matter how much he breathes it feels like the air heās actively breathing in is being sucked out and stolen right from his lungs.
If Clark didnāt know any better, youād think Bruce was perfectly fine - he wasnāt of course, who wouldāve thought the Bruce Wayne - Batman of all people would be nervous to meet some country parents ? By the time they arrive, Clark is absentmindedly rubbing his boyfriendās thigh to comfort him, when they step out the car - Ma and Pa are waiting excitedly, Ma is the first one to hug Bruce.
āMa, Pa I want you to meet my boyfriend - Bruceā Clark says while extending his arms like heās showing off his new prize (though for Clark, Bruce is like a brand new toy and Clark is just an exited little kid). As Bruce is sat down and asked every question in the book - carefully nursing a cup of iced sweet tea Ma gave him due to the summer waves coaxing through the town, Clark sitting next to him with his hand softly resting on his knee as he watches his boyfriend quietly answer all of Maās questions trying his best not to stumble over his words and miserably failing.
By the end of it both ma and pa are in love with Clarkās love, Bruce has made plans to go shopping with Ma a few weeks later in town and he agreed to find some of the best binoculars and bird books for Paās new hobby.
Before leaving - Clarkās parents were saying bye to Bruce like a distant loved one going off to war, barely paying mind to their actual son. Ma making it a point to tell Bruce to call when they get home and Pa hugging him tightly and patting his back, telling him not to be a stranger and come visit some time. Clark smiling ear to ear watching as his family made his boyfriend family, thinking about how theyād be when they get married. On the ride home, Clark being just as doting as he always is - praising Bruce for how well he did with his parents saying heās so glad that they got along and that Bruce was so good the whole day, saying he was so proud of him.
Bruce finally being able to breathe saying he was so nervous the whole day thinking they wouldnāt like him, rambling on about how he didnāt know what to say and why didnāt Clark help him? When they arrive home Clark canāt help but thinking about how wonderful his beautiful boy did today with his parents and wants to show him his appreciation - so after greeting Alfred and putting their stuff in itās respectable places, Clark sits Bruce down on the bed, kissing him softly with doting praises.
āYou did so good today baby, iām so proud of you. Talking to my parents like that today even when you were nervous, thank you baby for doing that today, iām so happy you came with me todayā with every affirmation, thereās another kiss to show his appreciation - Bruce letting out a whine when Clark kisses that oh so sensitive spot right below his left ear.
āClark-ā Bruce begins but gets cut off, āshh baby just let me take care of you, donāt gotta do a thing just lay back, relax and be good fāme okay?ā Bruce just lays back as Clark slowly undresses him trailing with soft kisses, soft hands caressing and holding him as he slowly makes his way down to his pants, unbuttoning them, kissing his thighs softly, rubbing the flush skin right beneath the hem of Bruceās boxers as Bruce whines to be touched, his hips involuntarily bucking just to find the smallest bit of relief in the hand resting directly on him.
