Hello! I was wondering if you allow studies based off your drawings?

Sure, studying other artists is totally fine and encouraged even. To avoid just copying someone else's style which can stunt your own creativity, it's good to study multiple artists and get influences from a wide variety of styles. Maybe you like the way someone draws hair, and another artist renders water, and someone else does their line art. Figuring out how to get similar effects in your own style and own way is the key!

#if posting studies online it's nice to credit the artists #but that should be pretty basic courtesy

#artists on tumblr #had a fun year drawing totally normal sea creatures #here's to another one hopefully #i started studying german this summer #like formally #since i've been learning a bit by just living here #in a month i have my B1 exam #definitely a bit nervous #especially about the speaking part of it #i can do well under pressure in written exams #or entrance exams #or art related things #but in person speaking to a stranger...#while someone is staring and judging me as i do it...#that's a social anxiety nightmare #but hey #we ball

My art style was honestly just created by me realising I can cut out all the annoying parts of the art process I don't like. I've always hated rendering, so I was like.. what if I just didn't? Line art and flat colors are what I have the most fun drawing, so I focused on those, and found different ways to indicated texture, shape, weight, all the stuff I used to render in by painting. Every time I draw something new, I have to figure out how to do it in my style, and that problem solving is part of the fun for me too!

I get most of my artistic inspiration from nature, architecture and just being a big woman-liker. I love to draw women in love in various (usually horrible) situations :)
