When you learn to do them right

Just trust and surrender

You are never alone.

Just so they can understand what it means to do that to someone.

But in reality it's a reflection of me giving away my own power.

So then I realize that everyone walks their own path and has their own journey, so just because they can't handle what I'm going through and need to do their own thing is not a reflection of what I'm worth in their eyes, it's only a reflection of them.

And I understand that hurt and unconscious people hurt other people, because I've been that person several times in my life.

All people are built different and it's not fair to expect anyone to be like you.

But I also distance and detach myself when someone shows me I can't count on them and they repeatedly hurt me, whether or not it's their intention.

Because what I choose to do is a reflection of my relationship with myself. What they do is a reflection of their relationship with themselves. Nothing more, nothing less.

But just because you understand where they are coming from, doesn't mean that you should stick around when someone shows you time and time again that they're not a safe space to be in.
