There is a myth that flies within the wind and the sand, that shakes the minds of the townfolk, of a young lady who lives in the hot and sandy desert. She is not a god, a deity, a blessing, a ruler, or a human but she sits on a throne of desire and fortune. But with Everything in her bear hand, she is still not satisfied. In her power, she can grant any wish to whoever can defeat her and remove her from that mysterious throne.

Will it be You the one who can take her down with an iron fist, the Diamond in the Rough?

He looked at the ink-filled heavens, with deep interest. Many stars glowed and attracted the attention of others but one star caught this man’s attention. One burned dimmer, which never intended to be seen by others. Only to hide in the shadows of brighter ones. There was something beautiful, a hidden beauty. This star was who truly glimmered the brightest. It brought out the best in him, the best he could ever be.

“Oh I love you, Ma Belle Evangeline”

Instead of being a small star in the night sky, it became his sun.

reminder that you can shift anytime, anywhere, under any condition. it doesn’t matter if you’re exhausted, if you’re spiralling, if you’ve just remembered an email you forgot to send and now you’re in a fugue state of regret. it doesn’t matter if you’ve put shifting on a pedestal so high it’s getting altitude sickness (even then, a pedestal is just a glorified step stool. kick it over. nothing is above you, nothing is out of reach), or if your brain is complied of intrusive thoughts and mental white noise. you could be in a grocery store queue, on a sinking ship, in the middle of a hostage negotiation. and could still shift.

people love a reason why not. alas, the conditions are not set in stone. they never were. consciousness is liquid gold. it seeps through cracks, it adapts. you don’t need the stars to align. you don’t need the perfect night, the perfect mood, the perfect silence. you need exactly what you already have... a mind.
