INTP Apathy

Welp, that’s the whole backlog. Final hurrah and all that. Hope everyone got some form of closure. Or is sick of my shit cause they also outgrew this shit. In that case, whoops. Sorry.

the peace of mind from finally understanding myself, quickly wore off. i realized i can type literally anyone i’ve gotten to know, now here i am at 5am typing hermoine granger. she’s definitely ISTJ Edit:I did used to like playing the “guess this stranger’s type” game when I was bored.

I don’t know what they all think an INTP is best at, but it’s certainly not romance.

I find the things you write on your blog to funny (and accurate). As an INTP myself (not that you’d care) it’s relatable and funny because, heck, you need to laugh at yourself sometimes right? Anyway, keep up the good work! (sorry if the note came off a bit awkward, I don’t know how to right appreciation notes for jack). Edit:I have no idea if editing these things still keeps the original poster connected to it, or it all writes it in my name. Sorry if that’s not true. Also sorry that you told me to keep it up and I didn’t. Life likes to disappoint us all.

Good or bad like any other relationship. Theoretically though I can only see the ISFP creating a lot of fun things for the two to do. Which the INTP would reluctantly agree to. Unless she’s in a mood. Leave the moody INTP alone. It’s what they’d want. That being said INTPs are more receptive to doing things than they sometimes like to appear.

I can only see this as spontaneity and chaos in both the theoretical and material world. God help whoever is around them. God help any guys trying to hit on them either.

I personally find a romantically compatible person to be a lifelong friend you can fuck. So start with the friend part and go from there. Yes. Talking to people sucks and it’s hard. You gotta leave your comfort zone sometimes, but don’t over extend yourself. If you’re not desperate though, you can just hang around and see if anything happens. Trust me. Getting bored of people just means you’re talking to the wrong people. They’re probably good acquaintances at best. Even today I still have only 3 close friends.

Yeah. Ask the guy out if he isn’t already in a relationship. Feelings are normal. I know. It’s weird. Took me awhile to get used to as well. There’s nothing wrong with them or you. Just takes time. So...I guess maybe sort things out the best you can then ask him out. The rest might sort out in the process and as I said in my last post if things don’t work out, then there’s no shame and breaking it off.

Be honest. Talk things out. For anybody. There can be a lot of confusion in communication and you can find a lot of misunderstanding just by talking out your issues. I always like to recommend for anyone in a relationship to talk things out about your relationship at least once a month. And never buy into the soulmate theory. Relationships can end casually if you find things no longer work that way anymore and there’s nothing wrong with that.

If what you’re saying is what I think you’re saying, I’d have to guess that people who like MBTI feel a desire to act more like the type they’re assigned. Almost like a collapsed probability wave, once they learn about the type they’re more likely to act like it.

Generally though it’s hard to say on stereotype. Some of these issues just might not exist between two unique individuals.

Oh I know it’s just a stereotype. But comedy relies on stereotypes, so to this blog you were a pretty rainy cloud everywhere.  Again any relationship will work out. If you still have this crush however many time units later, go for it. The worst you get is rejected, then you can move on to something else. As an INTP myself I’d certainly appreciate someone just being straightforward and honest. Poor bastard might even be hoping someone would just pop up.

While I think any relationship can work out. I can definitely see tension *if* the ESTJ tries to be too controlling. That being said all types are people. Just talk to them about your issues. If they’re anybody worth knowing they’ll understand your perspective. 

It’s good to know who you are and where your weaknesses lie, but don’t let it be an excuse to improve yourself. It’s ok to admit you have trouble somewhere, it’s not ok to use it as an excuse. Nobody should feel bad about who they are as long as they’re trying their best.
