I finally did the finishings on my Aritza-style inspired skirt. I made this almost a year ago for Ren Faire and it sat on my ironing board waiting for the facing to be sewed down and a hook and eye to help keep it closed.

Made from a suiting that I purchased from my local fabric warehouse.

I made this 3 years ago for a trip to New York and haven't worn it since. It's nice to pull it out from the dust.

I've changed quite a bit since I wore it last so it is better as a tunic now. I think I'll cut a couple inches off the bottom to be more like a top.
